106.89, aiming for at least 107.5 take... I hate the short term but there seems to be lots of chop in this water, clearly seems to just hit a bottom for the mean time..

108.6 would seal the deal... Up and over and we can thank the big wheels... WOuld be fun to catch this bad boy on its way out after as well

USDJPY is unlikely to sustain the break of ascending trend-line. likely to reverse to 107.30.

As long as USD/JPY trading below the previous support level 108 area, I will remain bearish.

I agree. What gives extra credence, is that JPY weakness is causing commercial problems - ie high cost of importing. That is an anomaly IMO.

Besides the usd getting kicked all across the map, the Boj is continuing quantitative easing, oil is low thus not such a big deal on importation pricing plus Abe lost 2 ministers today... But I guess e safe haven of the yen is a bigger factor?

Safe-haven + the extremely stretched position of the Yen - IMO.

the correction of this pair is slowly taking the downside and should make it to 106.65

the bowl shape from 10/01 to 10/03 that led to a 300 pip drop is similar to the bowl shape from 10/15 to 10/20.

im short @106.900.

pair has been on a downward trend this entire month from 109.900 area on 10/05

us dollar index is as well dropping right now

What strange day. 106.67 seemed like it should have gotten hit but volume just disappeared. I wonder if the china data is gonna move this.
