Ah that's the rub: You can't get Ebola by SITTING next to someone on the plane (apparently there is very little virus that's contained in the mucous droplets from the cough) BUT there is no guarantee if you go to use the toilet on the plane... The most contagious bodily fluids for Ebola is blood, vomit, urine and feces.

Yes but apparently it's extremely difficult for a virus to mutate to a point where it can be airbone. In order for a virus to be airborne, the virus has to be so sophisticated that it can reach and survive in the lung for it be breathed out and survive in the air (right now the Ebola virus dies after being dried out in 2 to 3 hours on a dry surface - So I guess another strategy to avoid catching the virus on the plane is to wait 2 to 3 hours after the last person has used the bathroom to go yourself LOL)) and for this virus to reach that stage, it has to go through "meaningful" mutations and it's nearly impossible apparently.

So if this virus can be transmitted through the air among all those mammals, WHY it can't be transmitted through the air among us humans as claimed by these CDC ppl? We breathe the same air as these mammals.

Seeing these new information, I think CDC themselves have NO CLUE about this virus OR they do but they don't want to panic the mass just like in those disaster movies. But then again, now there is a "near cure" to this disease. All you have to is get blood transfusion from someone who survived it and you are guaranteed to live, SO FAR, provided your blood type matches. That's more effective than any of the experimental drugs that they are trying to give to the patients.
