Hi emmanuel,

I see TMS being applied more off in intraday 5-15, H1/H4 candles currently in this thread.

However, I am looking to use TMS system in daily bars. Anyone using it already in dailies ? or something if you know had been done in past.

I am seeing that the pair is following Elliot wave, nice to see that, so I will look into it today and see how the pair will reacts next week or so, even tho I don't normally trade based on Elliot wave but rather on TMS , I am just learning this concept that I think needs years to master , but well worth it

Hi Kouroushi,

The TDI is based on a defined period of the RSI data so when we have a strong trend like your example XAGUSD, the D TDI can remain below the oversold 30-level, but in the lower TF H4, there can be retracements. In H4, you can see many consolidation using Inside Bars and Master Candles. You can trade these consolidation breakouts and TDI bounce trades.
When I trade 4H swing, I follow the W1 chart candles price action. When you see D chart TDI is in the oversold region, you have to check what the W1 chart is showing you. I try to trade the weekly range using H4 chart TF.
In the current situation, we see the first bullish W1 candle, but the TDI has not turn up and no cross yet. If we see another green W1 candle this week, than the TDI will turn up. bt we cannot say it that is a reversal so early. Possible a major correction of the current bearish trend.

Next week, possible to look for a 4H swing trade since we see a bullish W1 candle, but it is against the dominant downtrend.
Due to lack in history data to look for support and resistance, I will simply use the prveious week Open, High, Low and Close as support and resistance.
If market reverses, then next week should see a break of last week' high. We should use H4 chart and look for TMS setups and trades.
That D pin bar is not very prominant and more like a spinning top candle which I interpret as indecision.

Hi tradesmarty,

I do position trading using D chart. Same approach with top down analysis and also use %risk with position sizing. In this way, no matter how many pips is the initial SL, the risk per trade remain the same %.

Here is an example with USDJPY, today I added position. Trailing behind 2 D candles.

a counter trend on EA (scalp trade) on M5 for 40 green since pinbar on M5, M15. exited at support.

GBPJPY 13 Oct H1 trade Tokyo Channel.
Risky trade with Japan bank holiday, also US holiday today.
The setup was good with that Bullish Engulfing Bar BUEB setup with TD bounce confirmation.
Will watching the price should it hit the ADR High, then intraday reversal is likely.

Edit: Forgot to mention, this is counter trend trade against the Weekly and Daily. So if there is break to the downside, look for a TMS sell setup.

Hi,

The ADR indicator name is !SM_ADR marker.ex4 found in post#14,437 <click>.
The default is set to period 30. I set mine to period 100 days, being conservative and also beacsue I have a Sunday candle whicha re usually s=very small range.

Both AU and EJ trades are good based on H4 entry rules.
EJ is countrend to the W1 and D1, so with the ADR marker on your H1 chart, you may find a reversal back into the dominant trend.

AU is in wide range consolidation, so I see a potential move up and room for TP.

Manage both trades well.

Is there any difference to these 2 version and which one do you recommend to use, I have been using TDI as the name of the indi but I have seen phx62 uses Trader Dynamic Index I think as the original version that Big E used as well
