for those that still do not get why the $ is strong and the Euro is so damn weak and that it is not about to change.....

this chart shows the change in GDP since the start of the financial crisis....

it is getting to the point that despite being so late in doing so, QE would now most likely be seen as positive for the EZ as it is likely the only thing that is going to get them out the crapper.....

try overlaying which countries did QE on this chart and when.... and you will see how many years EZ is behind the UK and US

Not much left, one bounce for eurusd if it dips lower.

There are too heavy sellers on usdjpy to make euro drop through 1.26. Possible but highly unlikely.

I look at least to 4 tfs: 1 hour, 4 hours, Daily + Weekly.
Most of the time it's the relationship between them that is important. If you are interested in Harmonics then you will have to read a bit about it until it makes sense. I can recommend literature.

hello,

I need your advices on the big problem I got myself into. I went short on Eur/USD at 1.2550 then when it went up so badly I hedged at 1.2750 to avoid getting wiped out. What do you advice me to do to get out of this with not such a big loss.

Your thoughts will be much appreciated.

Of course not today. 1.2638 is the daily S1, and 1.2646 is the weekly R1 - together they form a wall for the low-liquidity final hours of the week. Perfect for scalping shorts.
By the same token, I shorted GBP/USD @1.6064 for guaranteed and free 12 pips.
