I'm pleased I exited where I did on the first trade, the 2nd trade was pure luck that it reached 100 pips before turning around, in fact on my chart it only went a further 0.6 of a pip, otherwise it would have been another 80 pip trade I expect

your second trade is a good example TDI bounce trade.
See your first trade, that was aggresive chasing after a very long candle, but when that candle broke above BRN 137.00, then market pulls back, consolidates with that Inside Bar and created that TDI hook over and then as more buyers jumo in and created that RSI momentum, increase price momentum casue the TDI Green to bounce off the Red TSL line. That is an inside bar setup for an established trend....these are high probability setups, low risk initial SL hence small R and good R:R. Using that Indise Bar, your second could have been much earlier and you have the TDI as confirmation.
Eelfranz mentioned in post#261, look for consolidation, look at how close PA is near Supp/Res.

Now you have both charts of your first and second trades, loo closely and compare the two TDIs of both charts.

Wow... what a night. EA on Up Down mode. I still prefer to sell this baby. Since I didn't participate the strong move up. I took a short instead.

Bag 50pips at the most discounted price @ 1.44950. And still running.

Hi MrAussieFx,

Weekly is deep in RSI oversold but price can still move lower.
On Day chart, monday bulish move created a TDI bounce and that is significant correction of the brearish EURUSD.
Currency strength shows USD is still strong but is in retracement mode, so the EURUSD correction looks pretty but no bullish reversal yet for position trading.
The weekly range is increasing slightly to around 190 pips so we must keep target TP within expectations.
But with lower TF entries with smaller initial SL and using position sizing based on % risk, we can get good R:R trades and positive +2 Expectancy.

I see good trading days going forward in October and November months.

OK, Just completed and tested with MT4 build 711.
Sorry it took longer than I thought, but due to MT4 update last week to a new build 711, I had to test the codes again, made minor changes and made sure of compatibility.

I see this morning the pair came back overnight, very close to my position now, holding two sell and targeting 50 per. waiting to see what the day brings re this pair. I'm still doing demo and want to see what happens, only 20 pips out now on two positions, I was 200 - it's alarming lol. But I still had plenty of margin so I relaxed a bit on it.
I started this demo with 200 rather than the 5g they normally give just to give me an idea of what I can expect when I do go live in a month or two. Last nights move up took me into negative territory in the demo, if I had exited I would have lost $20 odd and wiped out the profit I'd built up in it this past week.

Lol as I write I notice candles have jumped up again. if it is true about the asian needing to move 40 pips for volatility across the day it has hit 61 already

I'm outta here back to the charts

I need some coder's help to add two functions in trade manager.

1) Close current order if APB bar closed with opposite color
2) Maximizing profit -- Move TP & SL once price come closer to set TP.

first sell from last nights E/A trade taken out at 51 pips, and only ten short of my second 50pip target
