+40 pips on EA buy. Set yesterday high as TP.

If you are going to wait that long before you take the trade then you at least need to have your stop loss below the candle you went in on. Personally I would have gone in at the beginning of the candle.

Here´smy first trade in this Thread.
I´m demoing it since this week and have mixed results.
Specially the exits are not easy to define for me .
But here´s a nice one , GJ H1 , 45 pips

I never wait for it to break the previous candles high if its a good signal, but thats just personal. The previous candle on H1 was blue, good cross on H1, H4 bounced up, I would go in with no hesitation at the open of the candle. Nevertheless, the previous candle's high on H1 was still more than 20 pips from where you entered.

There you go another trade with BE results, all because of ranging market , actually its so important to understand TDI correctly, so that small pips is taken when TDI dosent confirm longer run

TDI is ranging or crushed between MBL and 50 line

I also got a hit loss on EA short trade based on poor understating of PA structure and TDI, but gonna save that chart for future slimier trades

All of the upove is good for me, as those are learning experience, actually at the time of shorting PA on EA, I had a similier setup that happened on EA not while ago

Not the best cross on H1 but bounced up off of trendline, h4 tdi still strongly up, m15 a nice cross +100.

look at the tp and the price that reach there !

but trade did not stop by the tp ! and the price reverse!

can't open your attachment to see your PT price.
Gold has huge spread (mine is 40) so I guess that could be the reason you did not get filled since you had to add spread to your PT (short)

price reach and pass the TP but trade did not hit the tp !

Following the PCRF I spotted earlier I lost 28 pips on a classic LO fake out candle. In hindsight I didn't wait for LO candle to make a clear break below the FO candle for the continuation pattern.

Once price formed the triple bottom and turned to the upside I closed the short and went long, now knowing that price had probably set the low for London (Thanks Phx62 for that one )

Given the tight inside bars at the start of the session I decided to target 100 which was probably a little too much given the recent ADR. Price made a strong move up and missed this target by 5 pips. I have just closed the position for +85 following the triple top and flattening of the RSI green which is now well within overbought territory.

Overall, a good day for me. Thanks Phx62, Scorps, Lastingwell and everyone else that's contributing. I don't want to speak to soon, but it finally feels like I might be getting somewhere

Nice trading and management Ballistical , well done

I am trying to use what you guys are using these days, ie the TDI from compassFX since I see it has lower noise than the TDI I'm using, but the moment I change time frame, the settings go back

Is there a way to make the settings identical what am using for the time being ?

re-enter again and catch about 50 pips on eur/jpy
but did not know the different between the first trade and the second one
