EUR/JPY sell? Pull back from Asian session high, Frankfurt made a strong move down, TDI below red, yellow and the 50 line. MT4 4H is consilidating, representing the chop of the Asian session. Think I'll wait for PA to break the low of Frankfurt before considering this. Opinions?

out of EA short on M5 @FO for 30 green at support (price bounced back at 200MA on M5)
(compensated for the mess during Asia -23 red)

also in UJ short as I like the bearish set up plus tdi crossed on H1 ...

No comment of EJ, but I took a short on H4 GU 2-3hrs ago.
Gold looks strong, small lot, taken on daily chart. gona let that run. currently 100pips up.

Hello Scorps! Sorry for late answer, was not near computer. Yes, i agree with you, rules must become the second nature, then it will be really easy to follow them. That's my big problem - discipline and patience. The main factors in trading i guess. But i am still learning and i hope every day i do better and better
That's great that you have your own win exit rules, i am still searching them - trying some variants, backtesting and so on. Can you tell me please more about EMA 10? I have the same moving average on my M15 chart, but i don't use it in full sence. You just exit the trade when price crosses EMA 10 on M15 chart?

To trade the same way like eelfranz following his Entry and Exit rules described in his 461 posts in this thread, use the TDIRed Green posted by him in the first page.

You can of course pick one version and tweak the TDI parameters to suit your own trading style and define your own entry and exit strategy.

re-painting is not a bad thing so long as we use the price action to decide on trade setups and use the TDI for confirmation. This is more important when we trade H1.
The big question whether to wait for candle to close or not before we pull the trigger depens on the price action. There is no corect or wrong answer. Trading TMS requires some discretion of the trader and that depends on the experience level. This is not easy.

One thing you can do is to place the various version of TDI in one same chart and follow the chart prgressively, do not re-start MT4 platorm or chabge timeframe of that chart.

Here is an example below. I use a screencapture EA which take a screen short every time a candle closed.

I wasn't a fan of the PA either, however I waited until the candle close to base my decision to stay in the trade. The 4H MTF had crossed the red and yellow below the 50, with room left to reach the 32 level. I've moved that trade to break even, so if it takes me out so be it.

Just entered the USD/CAD on a break of support, TDI crossing down below red and yellow, MTF 4H the same. Similar SL and TP

nice pinbar + div on H1 with TDI confirmed during Asia did not do very well (24 green collected from the short). both EU and AU have been up nicely during FO/LO

I use 5m-m15-h1 as well, and H4,Daily for trend on EMA 10

So if a candle closes below above ema 10 on M5, then go to m15, no candle close in there below above, stay in the trade, M5 and M15 failed, go to H1 and hope for the best

In that sequecnt and nature, all of that based on TDI and price action as well

Had a trade on GBP/JPY. Entry was on M15 after pretty double top and hidden divergence on H1. Also we have nice downtrend, so i took that early entry with a small stop loss. After trade went 20 pips in my way i put SL into BE area and later it was hit

look at this chart ! eur/jpy
it was about 14 pips red !
why?

the reasons to take :

1. green cross red at H1 with good angle
2. green bounce from red and MBL at H4
3. "Price break above the last 10 candle's High
4. price break pivot line

Yes, know that it is a own trend but at daily price stop at prev weekly low and also at H4
So it is time to have a reverse !

and now it is a failed trade !
any advices are welcomed
