or you are trading in diferent time frame or i donīt understand your trade.
because if you see your trade you went short before the Symph say it.

I took trade at open of candlestick. Normally you take it at close but I took at open. Why? Because all the presigns were there and Symphone 15min changed at that bar and my alert went off and I agreed with the signal.

Good trade eval! With news events like NFP, it is ok to open the trade before the news event?

I'm a little confused with which ones to wait on the sidelines with. In this case, I thought NFP is a big event, so I should wait until after to open my trade.

My experience has been it is ok to trade up until 1 hour before a major news event. My trade was many before the news.

I`m new here and have read most of posts from this thread but about 17000 posts here is very hot*gg* ..... i have downloaded version V4.4h and i`m confused it looks not how your chart ..... is it the same as yours .....your indicator is V4.4 without "h" .....i have also the setting of post #15.822 but different chart.....
can you help me with the rigth setup please .

Do not be concern. 4.4 was an earlier version and 4.4h is actually an update to fix some problems with 4.4. 4.4h is the better version to use.

Can anyone please tell me should I place my pending buy or sell 5 pips below the wick or below the close of the candle? I am getting confused Wick or Close? And does the pending including the spread or is it 5 pips + spread ? And also should we delete the pending order if it is not hit within 5 next bars and wait for opposite or same signal to reappear .. Also wat would be the SL in 5 Mins..?? 20 pip fixed or something else?
1 HOUR CHARTS

Hi, I have been looking at trading 1 hour charts, and had both the Matrix v4.4h indicator and the Market Emotion + Sentiment Indicator displayed on my charts.

I used the settings on the Matrix with the 1 hour settings on page 1 but did not find the results reliable.

However, using the Emotion and Sentiment indicators - particularly around the London Open is producing some good returns.

Also a cross of a 21 EMA is also a good confirmation of where price is heading.

Those of you who have been frustrated by trading 1 - 5- 15 min charts may find the 1 hour charts a bit of a doddle!

Your order should be execute at close of bar with signal.

Earlier you mentioned that you wait for price to come 5 pips in favor of you after the signal has been issued by the Matrix. Accordingly you place pending order that is 5 pips above or below the signal candle.. So my question is does the 5 pips include spread cost or spread is included extra for ex if eur/usd is 2 pip spread the pending should be 5+2 = 7 pips above or below the signal candle.

my general thinking about tradingsystems and symphonie...
(i just see that the main questions and problems are repeating since long time very often^^
so sometimes a change of the point of view may be helpful for some user out here)

"its just an indicator which puts 4 things together, extreme, trend, emotion and sediment... normaly everything u need, but the settings are difficult, because u have to adjust all 4 to one basicsetting, like soft/medium/hard.. and there, they loose their single sense. thats why u need always a background to symphonie.
me f.e. use symphonie most times just for exit, because its too late for the most trends. and if u set it more sensible, u get tons of wrong signals.. just tricky then every pair have own rules, so they would need special settings each too... much too much work to care to keep profitable

my best advice i can give: in your one month now and in the following time u will see many tradingsystems and indicators.. every system and every indicator have its good and bad sites. thats why the MOST important thing is, that YOU choose the TF and the indicators what u like. (in the symphonie-thread u see very nice that the people who asking always for the exact settings and if they use the same like eval, because it dont work for them like for him... but settings are the same^^ the difference is, eval created this system. and everybody who adepts the system to his needs and preferred environment is also successfull. just not the ones who only want to copy...

so, like i said, take your favorite 3 systems and make your own. take the indicators u believe/trust in and look that every roof is covered (like trend, emotions and market sediment.) most times the rule is "less is more" too much just confuses... (KISS=keep it simple,stupid)
and find solutions for a ranging and a trending market (because most system are maded for one of both "

I agree with you that a KISS plan is the best course of action. You are also correct that the more sensitive you make Symphonie the more possibility you have a false signal. However, if you use the optimal setting from post #1 that should keep you out of false moves and more intune with the true market move. Remember Symphonie is not a top or bottom maker. Symphonie is a market turn indicator allow one to enter the market and ride the market direction once it has be made. Picking tops and bottoms is usually very difficult because Market Makers are there to make their money at those points by playing fools that try to pick those turn points. But when the market turns the Market Makers are no longer a factore because market fundementals are now at play and there is no amount of money one can do to manipulate the direction once the Market makes up it mind on a direction.

I am so interested in your strategy and think its amazing. But I have some problem in symphonie matrix indicator setting.
for example my indicator shows different result with yours in the picture ( same date and time).
Could you please give me your indicator setting (15m timeframe) to have a better result like you?

The trials you see in post#1 is my real money! The posts I make are using my real accounts with real money. I trade everyday using Symphonie as my market entry tool.
