Hi everyone, Iīm still just a newbie so I donīt post much yet, but according to IG markets DAX closed on 9285.40 on friday. So for those who expect a GAP on monday, this is how it should look like.

Hi .

I trade the Dax often and would like to join this thread please.I started trading in 2009 and like all other fell down the beaten path. I am looking to up my game and improve.I don't need to be in the market every day but do look for for good setups.I am still learning and would like to join you all here.

I am tired of just trying to pip but would like to use constructive analysis in my setups.Please advise if it ok to join here.

Thanks a lot for shareing that SS Gingis.I trade fron an another broker and i cant see the gap untill the open DAX.I opened a demo on IG will see how it can help me to see gaps.Hope you have a nice weekend and thanks again .

Dax30 German Index.

Herewith my observation regarding the fall of the markets since last week.Last week we has Ebola and Chinese flu send bears in droves to drive the market down.My take is that the fall is not over yet and could see Dax further down. ES has pulled up on friday after good employment data + PMI.ES has break higher than friday's high to maintain a bullish trend.

Should the market fall, it will relatively to support of the 9000 zone and IF the 9000 breaks 8800 is definitely the next stop.However I have identified a possible setup LONG should the market proves to rest on the support of 9100.

There could be 2 scenarios :

(a) a move up to 9300 and retrace down to 9100l9000 level
(b) a sustained move to 9600.

Someone once stated her that gold and dax, or perhaps indices in general, are inversely related. Could someone please explain their relationship?

Well that was a good start.

long from 9177 from last thurs, closed manually 9341.

Worth the wait. Actually I'm a bit of an idiot as I didn't realise DAX was closed last fri (completely forgot).

It's rare when stupidity pays up.. lol.

This time it will be difficult: A strong resistance area at 9305<---->9288 will block any gap close attempt. So IMO probably no!!!

Dax & Gold are inversely correlated "MOst Of the time" I watch & trade both & notice when both are heading in the same direction on a given day, they "Take turns" in making their moves. If Dax is moving Gold will stand still until the Dax move is complete. When they are both heading in opposite directions it's easy.
