if the upper wick is 10% or less, and the body was 1/3 or less then the lower wick. then yes it was. w/o measuring it at a glace it looks like a hammer to me. other rules applied, like looking west to see if its at a old support. if it was, and if u were using indis, and they said long. then according to those guidelines, it was a possible long. my personal rule is to close at any hammer breached, if i was using the hammer only. to me that hammer was voided a pip below its low. another thing is a hammer or any candle dont indicate how far a reversal will go (it did go up above the hammer before dropping). if the resistance above that hammer, looking west was not worth the r/r of the hammer low.. why take the chance against such a strong trend. the following broke the hammer. some wait for the next candle to close higher then the hammer close

i have another quick question...can the dollar touch the highs of 2010...cause if it does...then a steep fall is projected....

cause I keep wondering what is driving the USD so high, as i under it the entire economy is built on DEBT.

I agree, I keep telling everyone I know this upswing in our economy won't last. There is no real strong driving feature.

What is the percentage of EU Debt to its GDP?

Who has the food and technology?

The US had two cows, sold all three to a corporation that paid price of four cows, later that corporation took over another corporation as its subsidiary merged that subsidiary's three cows with its five making it eight cows for the merged corporation. Later they sold shares of all these 16 cows to EU. EU has less debt and more equity in these cows, US has a debt for first two cows. Who will win? .............................. Moreover the number of countries that have the EUR as their currency again something that keeps me puzzled is that these countries aren't doing anything about their deprecating EUR. I am not a subject matter expert,still learning and discussing...

The USD may be realistically over priced but the fact of the matter is, it really is getting better than it was. If you take into account that all the other majors are totally in the crapper (minus the UK), it totally makes sense. Now if USD started posting numbers pre 2008 Id really start to wonder. Just remember that its been 6 years since investors have seen real growth of any kind and my bet is its all just an over-zealous market. It may have a few big corrections but my guess is that USD is on the up and up.

tech wise i have 90+.. fundi wise it can go to the moon. we just had a good jobs report. most times when the economy takes off like this. there will be a period early on, where it will dip. this is usually before the real recovery. many people on the sidelines will start to look for a job. after a normal dip a spike befor a better rate happens in later reports. fundi wise the u.s. is set up for a boom. cost wise, bmw will be adding parts made in north america to its German cars exported.

the Saudis will do what they always have done to let oil drop, when u.s production increased. to try and bankrupt the new N. America fracking investments. they will do what has worked in the past. when oil reaches that unknown threshold price, u.s. production may slow. And Putin will stir up some shit. and some oil kings will fight the peasants. whats different is. some of the gung ho's MF are no longer in power. so Europe may be the first line of defense. since the crazies are all around its borders. the u.s. will be glad to supply ez with weapons. wash, rinse repeat.
