Nov/Jan $50 is trading now at 0.16 / 0.17

Between this spread, short strangles or single options and Iron Condors... I decided to do the later.
Strikes like on the picture. Did not get a fill for IC as a whole, but filled really quickly when I switched to spreads. I got filled at both spreads for $0.62 credit, or $1.24 credit for entire IC. I did it with Oct monthlies to avoid earnings.

Yahoo Finance has recently been changing their utilities around, now show i.v. in their options chains, but still working out the bugs, I guess. They changed their "interactive" charting around - not good.

The IT dweebs here won't even let me install a java update, so I have to use the clunky "web trader" like tools from the various borkers. Usually it's not a problem....

EWZ down AH, at one point had dipped below the day's low. I am interested to see what the i.v.'s will look like tomorrow, last day to place your bets....

On EWZ once I see $39 - $40 I may write puts, wit the high IV it may pay very well

May look to take another long put trade on AAPL on Friday for the same day expiration, all depends on the NFP and if AAPL CAN TRADE BELOW 99.30, the $99 puts should open below 17c, if AAPL trades higher than 100 then I may just leave well alone

If they're gonna take one more shot at some fresh highs, the next couple weeks might be the last good chance - before the midterms, before the next FOMC and the end of the taper, before ebola sweeps the world in an orgy of panic and agonizing death. Just sayin'....

Cliff's has done fell off a cliff (see chart). I am looking for more calendars. The juicy calendar girl has big perky front month i.v.'s on reachable strikes and the back month i.v.'s on those strikes must be smaller than the ff...ff... fffronties. Hubba Hubba..... You see that i.v. spike? SPROING! Daddy like...

The Oct $15 call iv is 112%, the Nov same is 72%

CLF is too cheap tho. And also, there's gotta be something wrong with dough's calc's: on a $15 Oct/Nov call calendar, I can only lose $0.04, but stand to gain up to $0.98 if the stock stays between $10.xx and $26.xx. Really?

MY NFP predictions:

a healthy beat: 238,000...and we see 5 handle popped in the unemployment rate - 5.9%. US indices rally, fiber dips back below $1.26, commodities keep falling.
