MN1 is bearish. W1 is bearish.
Buy only when we see there are buyers and buy at support.
Your Weekly chart shows red coloured APB/HA..., so no buying until we see a blue APB/HA and The TDI shows bullish momentum.
Market is reacting at BRN 1200.
Longer term sellers' target is near 1180 level.

Hello guys! Don't forget that today very important EU red news will be released - ECB Interest Rate Decision. So be careful with trading EUR pairs in few hours, it may be range before that important news.
Also tomorrow we have Non-Farm Employment Change.

GBPJPY Week 40 1 Oct 2014: We start a new Month today. GJ has been in several days of consolidation and a breakout will happen anytime soon. Top down approach = look at MN1 > W1 > D1 charts. What do you see? Use TMS 5-Method as the core trading method. Some questions on the TDI posted this week. Many TDi versions posted in the thread. You got to test each one in realtime basis and watch its behviour in relation to the price data in realtime. Some TDI version posted here re-paints in history charts and that make the TDI crosses so clear but not in...

Here is GJ D chart trade:

Waited for the Breakout with yestreday' candle and now added position.

Hi guys! I am from the US and i am trying to open an account with oanda. But somewhow they won't let me download mt4. Does Oanda not allow a US account anymore? And if that's the case, can anybody refer a broker with a small deposit? Thanks, Brian Green Pips!

Here's you may try this Oanda MT4 (SG) not US. But I believe it should be the same. If you want small account with high leverage, try FXCM.
Previously using IBFX Aus, But they transfer to FXCM. Well, got no choice sticking to it right now.

Hehe. after 1 year, back to this thread. Quit forex trading, had some rough patches in my life, and how came back.

The happiest moments for me are those when my trades are identical to those of greats from around, such as emanuel or TheScorps.

Anyway..

My trade for this moment was a short gbp/jpy taken on hi1 on the break of yesterday's low and the 38,2% fib. Trailed out at +40 pips, for a total of 132 on this week.
Thanks a lot everyone for sharing your daily trades and ideas, it does wonders for people like me.

Err Emman, can I ask... do you place limit sell at the break ? or you traded during HR1 or HR4. Basically that's the neat precise break entry.

If the price Break above, will you still take the trade with TDI Crossing UP?

That could be a good entry if you took a trade on first red candle after double top was formed. But remember that FO and LO candles can be fakey, so if you took a trade on these candles be ready to lock your profit tightly. You can see on backtests that first 1-2 London candles often forms hi/low of session box and price moves another way.

It was attached here a lot of times. You can find it in attached files of this thread: in the top right corner of the window you can see paperclip. Just click threre and you will see all attached files. Indicators named BreakOut_Box_4_London and BreakOut_Box_4_NewYork_OpeningRange.

I CANNOT catch a break even though I was taken out at b/e after price pulled back, my reasons to enter, besides the TDI signal, were a bearish rotation (break below, close below my trendline), a shallow retracement (under or equal to 50%) signifying trend continuation and a momentum bearing candle. Sadly, my stop was taken out yet again, and I really need to tweak my plan cus it's starting to piss me off!

We then see an ABCD completition coupled with TDI in the oversold area and potential longs this morning, I was away from computer and did not take advantage.

Very large signal candle (by UJ's standards) and right on top of support, you would have to take into account it might have some retrace back up the candle at least, even if it eventually goes through that support and your stop loss should be above the signal candle, if you can't handle the larger stop loss, look for a better trade or reduce your lot size.
