How do you know for sure?

All I know is if you were long since that time I quoted you, then I just transferred all your lost capital to my capital gains.

This is a make or break week for the bulls , if we close bullish we heading for a higher high , but if bearish , we break support and heading low , decisions can only be made once we have a fridays close where the future will be heading for this koon.

So you have no stop loss? It's your potential loss waiting to be realized any time, you just haven't realized it, you're wasting so much time holding a losing position hoping it will return and recover your position when you could have dedicated any free margin towards other currencies or better yet reversed the position. But I'm no one to tell you how to trade. Return for time spent is terrible IMHO.

well, stumbling onto this thread has just improved my mood from a down day to a good day. thank you all for that.

i love the eur/jpy , this is the only pair i trade. i trade the 1 minute chart during the Tokyo and London sessions. there is almost always volatility at the start of the London session of course, but my favorite is the volatility at the end of the Tokyo session.

i am a trend trader for the most part, although my personality is definitely a counter trend trader, i like to be a rebel and go against the crowd, but at this moment in my career i believe i have a better probability of being successful by following the crowd.

i do however enjoy short selling much more than long buying. i find falling price action to be faster, more predictable , and less volatile than rising price action.

Does anyone else prefer to go down rather than up?

Thanks..gonna start back using another acc. Hope this thread can make me a better trader. Currently I am depending on Stoch to enter but the last trade is a mistake as I do not put any stop loss.

By the way any idea on how the market going to be as the price already break the lowest price since August; 135.70.

I trade all directions especially sideways with weekly FX options when volatility picks up and prices stall. Selling hope 1 week at a time guaranteed 1% ROC.

Currently my fund is short mid term range to 130.xx to longer term all the way down to 125.xx

Elliott wave analysis of EUR/JPY for August 7, 2015

Technical summary:
We are still locking at the middle of a triangle. Wave e could still move higher to the triangle resistance-line near 137.00 and close at this level as long as minor support at 135.76 protects the downside. A break below minor support at 135.76 will indicate that wave e is already over calling for a decline towards 134.95. Below this area, it will confirm the thrust out of the triangle for a continuation lower to 130.00.
Trading recommendation:
We will sell EUR at 136.85 or upon a break below support at 135.76 with stop placed at 137.45.

Following the recent bearish plunge in the market, the price has performed a slight upward bounce. This would either prove to be a transient rally attempt when things still look bearish, or it might portend a meaningful bullish effort, especially when the yen losses steam.
