most of the shorters don't realize what can happen now. usd/jpy has corrected 60 pips from good US print. it made half of it but again fallen back. this is a setup for a classic dollar squeeze

Its consolidating near previous support/resistance (look left) might be a good place to scalp (shorting only). (5m chart)
RSI in conjunction with CCI presented a nice opportunity to short for a quick scalp.

I can picture a big bull tomorrow...but first all longs should be taken care of...so first down when Draghi opens his mouth and then up, when he closes it.

This is getting on my fooking nerves...always misses my TP by 2 pips





On the other hand I got me 60 pips for the day and I should be happy for that.

No rules before ECB, during the conference tomorrow, it won't care about bottoms, tops, trendlines, fibs, nothing...it can spike down and up, wherever it wants.

Euro will keep falling after Dragi's speech.

He will talk it lower for sure.

Look for weekly and monthly pivots as targets for retracement, as well today's daily candle close will give us a clue on possible depth. This was a Daily pattern so the move can extend even to the new monthly pivot at 1.1078 aprox 50% ret last swing daily chart.

USDJPY
Similar to CAD but on this one the pattern is 4 hours so even 109 is a good target. For continuation of the main trend we need to see reversal candle either 4 hours or daily from precise fib levels and confluence with pivots.. I will update new levels where resume of the trend could start.

Note: New pivots are huge challenge and in general I like to consider them as part of my analysis, once they are tested things can go back to normal but before that happens they constitute a risk if you trade against them.

There is is a 200MA on H1 which ain't gonna be broken in my opinion. It's been working as a resistance since August 16th.

Price has already touched 61.8 Ret 4 hrs and very close to weekly pivot and yes 200 MA 1 hr is there too for extra confluence, there is a pattern as well on the 1 hr chart, but to make recommendations here I need stronger signal, in the longer term I am looking at 111.57.

This hour candle looks good for longs. If it manages to close around 109.30 I'll jump on a buy.
