Disliked{quote} Well I traded FTSE for most of the 1990s and then the S&P, Dow and Russel 2000, so I do have several 1000 hours trading Stock Indices .The action so far......that was a great fakeout / stop sweep early after the Xetra opened......just look at the volumes as the big guys happily closed their shorts to the suckers who trade breakouts! The retrace was weak and whilst the Dow & SPX made a higher high for the day, Dax made a small double top. Still, its better to wait for the NYSE open in half an hour.... {image}

Disliked{quote} Aha, that makes sens...so you got more than a couple of decades trading indices....... that's a lone a fortune... the problem always is how to distinguish between fake and real breakout...... IMO the only way is to be in that boat and have a tight SL. Good luck Cheers

Disliked........... I'm also going to ask the broker to include the cash option. They have been co-operative so far. If they include it, I'm all set. If they don't, I'll leave them. .......Ignored
Disliked{quote} so this is what the broker said:- The reason why there is not a continuous symbol/price-quote is because of the way MT4 handles CFDs. As you are aware the previous CFDs have a slight different code such as FDAX.Z14 or FDAX.X14 as all CFDs have an expiry date which is often on a monthly or quarterly basis. Therefore, due to technical limitations of the platform unfortunately there is no way to merge the two together to create one continuous symbol/price-feed. Makes any sense?Ignored
Disliked{quote} My order from 9515 is still open.. no stop loss yet.. but I have a price alert at 9490.. I don't use stop loss and prefer closing manually if necessary.. Happy TradesIgnored
