Howdy y'all yanks

May today bring much green

Starting off the session today with a Becks beer (so that should provide some luck, if I don't have too many ). First trade was AUD/USD going long. Worked out well thankfully. Counter trend is a big no no though.

Edit. Trading rule today = (Usual lot size / how many beers)*.5 for extra caution.

It's been a bloodbath here on the ASX200. 10 days in a row all red. Close to 10% down in the last week or two. Many money managers are in the process of losing their jobs I'm sure of it. :S

I am from Slovakia, I use this nick, because I love the city Capetown and was there several times.
Amazing place,but they are many in this world such as Huntington Beach in Cal or San Diego or Sydney, lovely place.
I believe every place in the world is nice, just to take best part of it. Like everywhere are good and bad people.

Like I said, I live in small village in Slovakia, it is 10:15am..my neigbours are older people, so I do not " alarm system " , because they are better then " big brother ".
One Day I had car in repair, so my friend gave me his car.....older man next door..Ooooo You have new car??? and etc...

Hi Again Seasoned Dax and Cfd Traders,
Last week I couldn't trade the Dax because the Cfd term had 'expired' and quotes stopped coming in
and froze for a few days, as you know I was cribbing about it and asked my broker to put me onto
the next term ( Dec, I think).
Well, now for the past few days the quotes are coming in ( I have been on the road all this while )
but there is no history of price data for the time before the quotes froze last week.
How am I going to refer to previous support/resistance levels like this?
Question again then, is this normal ? How can I resolve this ?

From where You get info about options expiring and etc..good source, a lot of people write about it....options expire as good affect of price.

What kind of broker is that may I ask? StoneageFX or something?

The broker is xglobal markets. I chose them primarily because they allow fast withdrawals ( not that I've made any so far )

If you are using MT4, click on the Market Watch icon on the top tool bar to open the contracts that your broker offers, make certain that you are "showing all" - right click on the Symbol to confirm this - and then look for what DE contracts they offer. There should be both DE30 and DE30.Z or similar.

The .Z suffix tells you that it is the December Futures based contract, so look for the plain DE30 which should be the cash contract and thus continious vs the futures contracts which expire on the third Friday of March, June, September and December.

IF you dont have the 2 contracts showing, change broker.

I don't know - try a search in FF or in google. The fact that the closing price is the third input for the daily pivot calculation tells you that it is important and watched by the pros

PS: check my old thread....I've posted an indy there that may help...
