I hear you. I am in EU, which also did the same thing to me. I was short on red candles, then reverse on green candles, then reverse again on red candles. Got played by the yo-yo.

When UJ and GU are going in different directions stay away from GJ, when UJ and GU have a good h1 signal in the same direction, bet your house on GJ. Same goes for any of the JPY pairs with their counterparts.

I have recently rediscovered this thread. I checked this out a while ago and thought it seemed too complicated for something titled Trading Made Simple. I think the fact that I was not familiar with the TDI made me leery of the methodology. I decided to wander some more in the jungle of strategies and methodologies (in search of the holy grail, of course). After trying many different strategies, and failing at just about everything, I found that it isn't really the strategy that has kept me from success. It is me. I am my own worst enemy! I have worked on creating some rules to protect myself from myself and I am now ready to attack the markets again. That being said, I needed to find a system that would work and that I would be comfortable with. To do this, I decided to revisit some of the FF threads that I had visited in the past. I decided to filter out the strategies by the number of replies. I felt that the more replies meant that the system has been active for a while. At 40K+ replies, TMS is among the highest. If is a system is a total failure it won't last long or at least the replies will fade away. This thread has outlasted its creator (respect and many thanks to Big E). It has also evolved with the help of the current "seniors" here. I would like to thank all of you who have added to this thread and shared so much (indicators, templates, etc.). I have been lurking here for about a week without posting because I wanted to come to some sort of conclusion before posting. I have decided to give this strategy a go and in doing so, I will try to post some charts and observations as I learn.

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately forex factory will not let me start a thread due to the fact that I am a junior member so i figured this was a good place to post my question... Im in the market for a new laptop (for trading only) and i was wondering if anyone had any insight or advice from their own experiences on a good laptop to get. I'm looking for brand, model and specification advice.

Hi Nick, quite a few things to consider and a lot depends on how much you want to spend. I've tried several laptops recently and have finally settled on a HP Envy 17-J141na which I use mainly for trading. This has a HD17.3" screen with a resolution of 1920x1080. I went for a 17" screen for the greater screen area rather than 15.6" which I did try. If you can stretch to a moniter I definitely connect it up to one, about 22" to 24" should do, I find it makes a big difference being able to see the bigger charts. The higher resolution gives you more screen space but makes things smaller on the laptop screen but things are fine and very visable connected to a moniter. The processor is i7 quod core and ram is 12 GB. Sound is excellent on it too. It's not a touchscreen. I got it from John Lewis for £899, it comes with 2 years guarantee and you have three months to take it back if you don't like it. That applies to any laptop from John Lewis I believe. Also look at Leveno which are good and offer good value for money. When IBM used to make laptops I believe they were actually made by Leveno for IBM, and IBM have always been renowned for their quality.

This system is probably as good as any, but absolutely no system can prevent or predict the market from
shooting up the minute you place a down bet. I personally would play for money rather than demo but until you get confidence in the system I'd play for very low stakes so that any losses don't hurt.

This system is brilliant but other things besides tdi, stoch must be checked. For example what is the daily trend? If going on a H4 chart signal is M30, H1 in oversold/overbought, what I found is that if you are taking a trade put sroch on M1 chart and let it come to 20 mark and then trade long if the trade is long vice versa for sell. This usually gets u price cheaper between 8-10 pips

Hi R00ms,

Well, yesterday whole day was bit slow. Waited London open, finally opportunity comes in. I long EurJpy @ Fibo 61.8%, and after TDI confirmation at lower TF,
I jump the as well. This is 1st marvelous trade for myself which I am still learning. I took a very discounted pricey at big figure hehe....

I set TP50 but I decided only 40 i quit. So morning +40pips.

Hi Blake,

Before You get a laptop, you must ask yourself. What the purpose of laptop? Gaming? Trading? Application?

If you are into gaming, You definately need a high specs laptop like i7 with 16Gram and SSD. If you are into trading and non-heavy apps, you can still get a
range of i5 or i7 with 4-8Gram on Win7 would probably do the trick. Of course you may add in SSD if you got $$$. As for screen, it's solely depends on individual.
14" wide screen, 14" normal etc.

If budget constraint,
Just look for i5 with 4GbRam as a start. When you got $$$$ you may eventually upgrade to i7 and 8GB plus SSD.

That's my 2 cents bro.

Thats some information Lasting-well, top tips from pro, I have been trading EU_EJ_EA_GU_GJ , yesterday GJ gave a signal short, GU already moved in , GJ suffered even tho the signal looked good, I didn't take it since EJ was suffering too, so I don't know if I took the information correctly but correlation is what am doing too
