Fdax (5min)

With the quick start of Frankfurt opening I can say that trend has turned to north on the 5 min., my first target is the upper edge of the yellow channel I shared yesterday on post 2897.

Edit: I also think we could have a falling wedge pattern, if price stays in between the 2 channels

Ok it seems price goes up for a correction towards fib 61.8 or a little higher. The price where it can meet both the upper edge of the yellow channel line and the fib 61.8 is around 9640, I expect a continuation of the downtrend from there.

GM An early buy and then a quick sell have made for a nice start.

Now whilst waiting, coffee in hand, for the XO I have this chart for guidance.

A retrace up into the Decision Zone - 38% to 61% - would be great and then IF price turns in the DZ AND later starts to make new lows, then the fib expansions will be the targets......TWT

Edit watch out for the German Ifo Business Climate at 8am GMT

last in first out: sold the first tranche of short dax etf position (9770 -> 9570). next goal 9370

Nice trading, what is this fdax-settlement and how can I find out about it in the future?
Personally I think this new 'US bombing campaign' might be putting the jitters into the market somewhat...
used to be undecided but nowadays can't make my mind up

Let's see first how it will react at 9520.. but I agree with you.. the pressure seems to be very high right now..

yes but too late to short now, let's wait and see what the news brings in a couple of mins. Love the way Dax shot up this morning to a resistance level, in my case the 15m 100sma, stalled, and shot down at the London open - does this all the time, just one of the little quirks of the Dax.

thanks. every third friday in the third month a quarter, futures and options expire (triple wirching day). settlement price is xetra-dax level at 13.00 h. short answer, sorry, ifo...

TP my short from 9595 to 9550 .
Find divergence in M15 M30 and H1.
Not in a long trade as it's in the down trend.

Fdax 15 min. chart:

I believe price will retest 9700 soon, and if so then as long as no full candle close above 9750 I will stay bearish..
