Have started using EA for backtesting instead of using F12 and its way better, it almost shows you a live market , at least psychology is there when you backtest , I will try to improve my backtesting results on daily basis and hope that improve live trading in the market
Thanks a lot sesamstrasse for giving me this EA, I always wanted a better way in backtesting, my first week in doling so gained me +100 pips

Glad to hear this is a better way than using the F12 function.
Will give it a shot. Hope I will be able to install it, I'm hopeless at these sort of things..
So this EA just plugs in and simulates a live market but faster?

anyone tried lower TF like 5m chart here?
Reasons: Eu has very small to zero spread which is good for scalping to collect 12-15 green pips. I found USoil has had decent moves for 25-50pips each.
I was messing around with other pairs and bending my trading rules causing red pips.
Whether trading M5, M15 or H1 or H4, we need to pay attention to higher time frame that is if there is a signal to go short on current TF but TDI on HTF heading up, we should not get in that short and vice versa for going long.
Green pips to all of us next week!

I´m happy to bring my first positive conclusion to this thread.
In this strat I´m a totally newbie and can´t help as much.
As I said , it will need months or longer until I have my " eye " trained to this strategy and have the first positive results.
I´m watching this thread with much attention .
And daily a little training on the simulator makes me more and more confident in my entry decisions in TMS.

But one question I´m having now.
I just took the template Big E ´s first post used for H4 .
Is it the same for H1 or are the configurations / settings of the TDI different?

Friday, before close, at 5.09PM (Italy Time) I opened a short on the GBPYJPY @ 177.74 after spotting a short signal on the H4, even though not confirmed on the Daily one, considering also the weekend close, I took very low risk .
Here's my setup:
NO SL yet defined (I want first see the possible gap with the sunday-night open)
TP set at +115 pips - to be modified depending on the market.
Will set SL -> BE+5 once I reach +20/25
What the big guys here think ?
