still early. in the st the low at 2905, shows 2904. pre 3992 i would have waited for 2951/9x w/o hh..bbl

We might still see it tomorrow. I missed the entry at 2928, even though I had my short button ready, but then my internet froze for a second and when I got it back, the short spike was over...so waiting for Tokio session to enter, if they want to take it up again.

Re-test to the pip and a nice rejection, still under the line, still 1.21 in sight.

You're right, it is tick volume, the price feed is interbank and it is remarkable close to the much more expensive and supposedly accurate esignal composite feed. I use FinFX, they are connected to multiple banks using their PrimeXM based bridge to aggregate their price feed from multiple banks - most mt4 brokers use some sort of aggregrate price feed. The ticks come from the feed.

this is only one trade. added with many more already closed. its just enough to put it over the top... few 20% trades because i have been closing too early anticipating ghost bounces. when i closed 3015 it was a big one

ok, so it's not volume then.

the reason I asked in the first place is because I use an interbank price feed and tick volumes were going down for me in the same time yours were presumably going up for you to say excessive volume....

It is impossible to derive volume from ticks because a tick may mean $100m just got cleared or just $1 no way of telling and MT is not a great way of doing so even at that... because the volume of ticks coming through far out weigh the infrastructure your broker has to cascade on every tick to every client so they tend to aggregate the ticks they send, and the client MT terminal takes one update at a time, if more updates arrive during the processing of the update then it simply ignores them and take the next new one once it is ready to process again, so by the time your terminal has counted the ticks, a lot were dumped at the broker, some were missed by the terminal etc.....

that said if something works for you rock on, I was just curious about the volume ref.

Ready to sell at 30/38 if it ever reaches that, down to 1.29 aroundbouts.

Entered short at 2923 before I left home, but I see its still too bullish to keep it, out at 2916 with +7. Re-entering higher later.

I think we are done for today, market is waiting for Scotland.

Too late for me to make a decision and start a fresh trade.

Good to see that my warnings came true, hope it helped someone.

I could not profit from it because I had to play table tennis for hours and could not observe pa movements.

I'm +2-8 pips off from each of your numbers. And I dont even have 3006 or 2802.

Until I figure out why and get on the same page as you the numbers mean nothing to me. Gotta do more research. I'm off all day so I'll have more time this afternoon. The pieces are coming together.

Meanwhile UJ needs to 110 and replenish this money I'm burning testing out my theories on your system or I'll have to reload. At least .5-1% gives me about 200-100 bad trades before I'm forced
