The question then is: is it still worthwile to be trading if you have to wait for weeks on end to get your positions into green territory? + if you're right on the first position, the profit will be so small (because of small the lotsize required to account for possible drawdown) that any gains will be insignificant.

Do you realize that waiting it out = losing money? Because while you wait for 100 pips, you could have made 500 until the price comes back to "your" level? This is not about waiting out, this is about not being able to close a bad trade. This is how scalpers turn into swing traders when the trade goes against them.

Well, the outcome was right. With facts.

Spike was not low enough though, so expecting some volatility here until...... Sure case to whipsaw any adventorous trader who is entering market

where we are with the ec.. many others will be in the same boat. the eu made a LL. and the ec did not. the swiss may need a bailout. after buying so many euros.. somebody is going to lose their ass.
