No, it doesn't matter what they say today, as it won't be anything new. Its all about where the big players have orders open. I have a feeling the day will close bullish, we will go 20-30 higher tomorrow and then it will crash. So for me, I will be waiting for 3000-3050 to short, if my scenario happens. On the other side, we need 2880, so if we go down, I might buy around 2880 tomorrow, with a SL below the current low 2859. Either way, its safer to stay out and wait for the daily close. I will probably scalp, anyway...since I'm an addict.

the 2900 - 2990 zone has many names, amongst them:

consolidation
distribution zone
chop zone
noise
scalpers paradise
account killer

so place trades in this zone with great care, don't get sucked in against the trend, don't buy the top, sell the bottom......

safest thing to do is wait
next safest is to take the with trend break out
next sell the top
etc.....

This mornings High 1.2980 wasn't rejected it just ran out of gas and fell.... there was no push back down
I'll pick up the crumbs don't need the whole pie

The USD has been trading mixed.
Higher against CHF and SEK and lower against GBP and CAD and unchanged versus the JPY, NZD, EUR, AUD and NOK.
The GBP depreciated even after the minutes of the last policy meeting of the Bank of England have revealed that the same two members voted for a 25 basis points interest rate, despite the referendum in Scotland.
The CAD has soared after the Governor of the Bank of Canada, have said, he was cautiously optimistic about the future of exports to economic recovery. Stated that the Central Bank does not attempt to manipulate the value of the Canadian currency.

Oh Lord, still 4 h to go. And tomorrow decision in Scotland.

Might end up in endless waitings and then short and hefty massacres.

Personally I will not be part of it.

No inflation, weak employment numbers...end of the game for USD. If e/u fall after fomc statement I add to long as Yellen will have to calm down market in press conference.

EUR/USD is exceedingly calm and the consolidation continues, but that is like the calm before the storm. Personally I will wait for Yellen's speech later today before doing anything.
