Something tells me expectations surrounding Alibaba IPO are keeping DOW et al aloft at these dizzying heights. FOMC my guess (gut feeling) will be largely uneventful (perhaps not for FX? dunno). Probably wrong though.

Can't see a trade in most things arggh.

Dax needs a close on the 1H Chart over 9682 to get to higher prices.

moved over to new broker that doesnt expire my $SPX trades. Now I can hold my SP500 & DAX trades for as long as I like! Makes trading so much easier since I am big fan of buy and hold

usually when the market expects interest rate news and fomc, it moves very slow and lateral

USA and Europe have in this days ,different market situations


PS:
anyway atm
S&P --> long
DOW --> long
UK --> short
Dax --> flat

BUND --> long (this is for me the key atm)

I think the impact of this vote might be observed later in the night or tomorrow morning after the results are released.

For the next couple of hour the reference level to observe are :

above 9705 --> long
below 9693 --> short

I prefer to observe this levels on a 30 min chart related to open value

GM - a nice reminder of the NR4 pattern as popularised by Laurence Conners & Linda Raschke in their Street Smarts book which was mainly about stocks. Have you tried it on ID TFs like 60m or 30m?
