{quote} I use the LFH simulator . Found it in the Choros thread where I feel like home . It´s not any fany new technik , but works fine and makes with you in weeks or months , what you normally learn in years. I still use it in the " Dancing " style one time a week .. And it was the reason why I´m successful with forex. the scripts are to " drag ´n drop " in the chart while you work at the " simulator " . fix Sl 30 Tp 30 .. with y doubleclick you can change them in the chart . Buy open + close / sell open + close in the scripts folder .. LHF in...

my personal advice :
put it on a seperate broker , the worst broker you know with the same servertime your broker has.
Put a session indicator to your template , to make sure you trade only the session you want .. ( for a quick view )

Why ?
If you can handle it with a bad broker ( large slippage , spread and so on ) ,makes it easier to handle it
with a good broker .

How big of a drawdown is considered acceptable to you guys?

I entered EURAUD long at 2nd candle of LO. It went from Big blue body to red pin bar, -26 pips; held on to it and exited at 11 pips profit. TDI was hooking down, kept on forming pullbacks and wicks on either side, and was really struggling to go above fib 38.2.

But now it's passed that and moved up another 30pips+

All I can say is timings, often LO will make a 123 setup, so entering at around LO long theres a tendency that LO will do that, ie push up, retrace back, then later on will print the correct signal with minimal drawdown

I took the long and struggled with PA bouncing back and up, so took 7 pips out of the move

Actually, this is one of the setup am trying to understand, in this case the best advise I can give, is if you have a plan to long the pair at the open price of LO, go down to M5, take the LO open price long, put the stop below swing low, ie the last pullback candle and wait in patience or try to learn when not to take LO open price, wait on the correct timings , if you believe that the market is in a trending move, then wait the confirmation after printing leg 2 and then take the setup, which is even harder to master

I have a folder devoted to just this setup, you will be amazed as how often LO does this, time and time again

I was looking at the average earning news.. it came good...when entered price went against me because of the other news came bad and hit the stop. There was no doubt on my mind price going up because of that average earnings. waited for a pullback on 15M TF. and enetered. Closed +120

Thanks. I was pretty confident that it will go up based on what I see. As long as it didn't go below 1.4265. But it's just all those whipsaw got me a little scared. Next time I think I'll start with a test lot, if it reverses, I'll start adding positions and average up.

Thanks for the M5 tip. I think taking an entry in the lower TF will just confuse me though haha. I guess it's better to just take a test trade in H1, and set the SL based on what I see on H1 and accept the risk . I'm just being all emotional... Not a good thing . Also would probably set a trading plan if it goes against me 30 pips to cut loss asap depending on the pair's ADR.

Cheers TheScorps. You're the best!

Thanks for your info. mine was shown the same.
Spread quoted for gold on icmarket website and actual spread on my mt4 for icmarket I paid yesterday was $50 (usd) for 1 contract. I could not believe my eyes staring at the terminal
Just wondering if anyone having such misleading info in trading. I know this is broker and me issue but since cchersia mentioned about spread here I thought I brougght this up so traders should be aware of what we pay our cost from our accounts and what stated on brokers's website.

I would not take this trade ...
1. Candles are small ...
2. Cross over has not finished yet .... seems to be in the middle of the candle formation ...
3. Green and Red lines are heading different direction ... Might be a Fakey ...
4. Will await for proper confirmation ...
5. It is Dangerous as of now to trade against USD ...
