Guys, a marked pickup in U.S. Retail Sales may spur a further decline in the EUR/USD as it boosts bets of seeing the Fed normalize monetary policy sooner rather than later.

Dollar Index in hysteria mode and E/U still holding the up trendline. Looks very good.

I said yesterday there was a risk we would never see 1.2900 ever again, it looks more and more likely.

2934 has held off london open and the 4h 12h close after so far. week closing below is not a bullish sign in the least. below 2904 even less.. below 2802 even more.. last week closed sub 2946... its already bearish from the weeks open. things can always change.. no signs in reactions yet of a change

Eurozone Industrial Production above estimate. Positive for EUR.

If it wasn't for USD hysteria we would already have erased all post ECB conference losses. Anyway we will do that next week once Fed calm down all this USD roof buying.

Yeah indeed, a very positive retail number would certainly add pressure on the line and it may even break for an hour or two but expectations are high so more chances for disappointement.

Upcoming USD news is more significant and can be positive as well, which would add more fuel to the fire of market sentiment expecting a increase in interest rates sooner from the FOMC.

Setting up a straddle trade would be the better idea instead of outright calling a EURO rally based on some slightly positive news and gut feeling
