Bullish momentum seems to be waning as we move into yearly record highs at 106.8X, just 1 day before US unemployment data. RSI continues to diverge on sub-8HR charts, but is still trending upwards on higher time frames, suggesting an intraday top. Personally, I am going to book some profits ahead of the news and adjust my stop to break even, looking to reload if we get a pullback.

long from 106.02 going to close out now.. and wait for another pullback before reloading ..

For USDJPY, there is no meaningful resistant before hits 110.00, and as long as price is above 104.00, bull trend is intact.
Now eyes on retail number in 2 days, and next round of FOMC is next week.

I'm still long. Although I have noticed it tends to drop from Asian open and regains from UK open through to US open and beyond. If you want to scalp short then use the Asian timeframe but make sure you are out or long a few hours before UK opens.

New candle high yesterday so stop moved to new 2 candle low locking in 950 pips so far since 12/8. Looking for a pullback during the day on the 1H charts to place another long position today.

Well, this morning I backed the wrong horse - EJ would have been a much more profitable trade.

However my UJ long is ahead 10 pips, let us see if it punctures 107 with any momentum.

I took my 18 pips at 107.03
Now let us see how strong are the sellers at .05 (according to ForexLive)
