SPX500 Update: This thing has been pretty relentless these past few weeks in holding consolidation area between 1990-2010. Last US session we saw price pop down to 1985 before an off hours pump on lower volume back up to 1995. I believe this is starting to show signs of bears now with a changing of direction in trend and lower highs having been formed. Of course, this can change at anytime. I am short @ 2000 & 1995 and eying a target of between 1970-1950.

GBPAUD Short Trade Open and Closed:

Closed for 97.1 pips average, 291.4 pips total. Just a scalp based on PVSRA.

GBPUSD:

Interesting situation we have here. Dragon and Trend still showing up trend, but PA and PVSRA hinting at a different bias.

For several days this has been showing signs of the bull. But suddenly yesterday, in after hours no less, the MMs surprisingly went ballistic bull for no apparent reason. Why would they pump price in after hours when, if they remained bulls, they could take their time and accumulate more longs before running the price up for profits?

And now, mostly above the whole number attained by the pump, PA is showing consolidation, but with a bearish look to it. There is a bearish PA wave, and with increased at the recent highs and coming down off the highs as the price heads back down to local support.

So, the question becomes, are the MMs still bulls? Did bull MMs whip the price up in after hours to break thru some supply zone (maybe just above the half number that it went up thru) before it got bigger. And is price consolidating now with bull MMs accumulating more longs on each move back below the whole number? Or, did the MMs suddenly, inexplicably become bears and whipped the price up to a higher level demand area in order to close their longs while they had a good chance to do so? And are they now rebuilding short?

The price went up because Scottish newspaper Daily Record reports latest indyref poll has 53% No, 47% Yes
This led to sudden increase in price in the after hours.

I agree the move up was timed with the news article. However, these market makers already know a lot more about what is happening, and what is going to happen, then we give them credit for. That would not have been "news" of any substance they were not already aware of.

The MMs could be bears. The move up could be nothing more than a timed deception, displaying GBP strength to coax in longs - not just during the pump, but ongoing afterwards - so the MMs could close their longs. On the other hand, the MMs could be bulls, as previous PVSRA has been indicating. And that still paves the way for a retrace to rebuild at lower prices a long position which they might have partially closed on this first run up.

Time will tell.

Please turn on your Trade Levels indicator. With it on, please edit your post to redo the chart, showing it with the Trade Levels indicator on. Sonicers do not have time to scrutinize a chart to see where various levels are. This is why we have the Trade Levels indicator; to help you and to help those reading the posts, making it easier for everyone to learn and progress.

Also, in Chart Properties, "Chart on foreground" should be unchecked. It looks like you have messed with the template provided to you. And you have not followed instructions to read the User Notes of the indicators and experiment with their External Inputs. I know this because there is something to be done to correct the Panel should "Chart of foreground" be left checked. And you did not do it because you don't even know what has been provided as a fix.

Finally, when saving the chart to a file that you can recall it from when adding to a post, go to MT4 banner/File/Save As Picture/Active chart (as is), and be sure to uncheck "Post image online in MQL5 Charts service......"

Be carefull, I see lots of activity on low prices. Maybe better to wait a bit more to be sure.
