EMA is not principle, on the last chart it was EMA 5 Shift 2.

Had only one trade today +25 pips EG, pretty simple as usual, we have an uptrend, price consolidating around round number, in form of triangle. Moved to M5, to spot a clear entry, break and retest was my entry point. My terget was reached even little bit more, closed after hanging man on M 15 Chart !!!

You have to understand that arrow is not a part of my system or approach, how ever you call it, it is been used just for the quick look at the direction of the price, as I have many charts on my screen

15m EU.....

Hi folks! I see Monocor has been having things his own way for a while! And all good stuff, I might add!

This is off the EURUSD just now, with a nice Harami candle forming after a push through MS1. Price then reversed again and continued down to S1 where I exited. My entry was after the candle that pierced the 8ema. When that candle closed below the 8ema, then that was a good indication that price would probably continue down. Just a nice little nugget from one of Stephen Bigalow's videos.

This trade made my day. Pin bar, shooting star, at resistance lvl, stop was 9 pips, target 30 pips at 0,9250, but price dropped with nice momentum, and closed for a nice +45 pips.

15m usdcad

This trade was initiated by price coming down to MR1, and then adopting an "undecided" position for around an hour or so before heading northwards. Once again, I watched the first candle after the consolidation head up and close above the 8ema. Entry on the next candle is as shown. It's what this thread is all about. The interaction between candles and pivot lines.

Once again, loads of uncertainty along the MR1 this time. A sideways wedge pattern formed, and it was then just a question of waiting for the break, which duly followed. Not a big trade, but always welcome, nevertheless!!

Price punched through MR1, fell back, and tried again, but the move wasn't sustained. The oval shape highlights a bearish piercing candle (not a Dark Cloud Cover, which has to be at least two-thirds down the body of the previous candle). The following candle dropped through and closed below MR1, and more importantly, below the 8ema. Time then to enter a trade, and the entry and exit points are as indicated.

15m AUDJPY.....

The one that got away. Price dropped right back to the Main Pivot line, and then retraced up to MR1 where a Dark Cloud Cover formed, inside a bearish flag pattern!! After that, price dropped all the way to S1, where there is now a period of consolidation happening. I said it was the one that got away because I was away from the computer during this move. Otherwise, I'd have been straight in!! (I've included where I would have entered the trade.)

If i may point out an error in the statement above, a PL pattern is actually the exact opposite of a DCC pattern. In other words, a PL pattern is simply a vertical flip of a DCC pattern and is therefore bullish. all other conditions remain identical.
