EUR/USD appears to be sleeping at the moment, but I think we should see some temporary pullback later today or sometime tomorrow. That said, I think that once that's done it will head for 1.2700 which is a resistance level visible on the monthly filter chart. The question is whether it will fall even lower. Time will tell, I suppose.

If 1.2980 survives I will be looking to short to 1.2898, 1.618 Ext BFly Buy 1 hour chart.
Will post it here later.

I have an old price line at 2970, and a fib on the H1 but the bulls look weary today, we might see a better set up on the GU. I don't see how they will take this upswing far.

This week will be up for EUR/USD, so expect a price well above 1.2950 on Friday especially if US retail sales disappoint it should begin to trigger some short covering. There are 160k futures contracts that need to be bought sometime.

Those news are meaningless for a trend. Yes, they may spike the price, but they won't turn this around.

Once you get near 200k+ net position on futures market the trend is over. And with last thursday panick selloff we are there.

The future market doesn't show a trend change right away...on forex it might be still hundreds of pips away...

Yeah if you wait for next CFTC commitment to show the short covering price action will already be couple hundred pips above. Check what happened in 2012.

If you guys want to buy usd depsite clear overbought level of usd index, do it against another currency like AUD. You will have more chances.

I want to see further decline into the EURUSD below ascending trend line support of 1.2930. However, a sustained break of 1.2960 can give rise to expectations that the pair can test 1.3030 and 1.3050 levels.
