I am still in the process of reading all your posts. Good stuff. Meaning your logic behind TDI works. I display the Sentiment line but don't use it to trigger my trades. The argument for it is your first 2 trades could have been avoided, they were below the line. The trades were long. My preferred period is Daily. Please keep posting when applicable.

Great trade again The Scorps . Looks like Your knowledge of the 10 EMA got you into the trade 2 or 3 bars before the TDI cross , I was not quite sure what you meant about the MBL acting as resistance , could you please explain that a bit more ?

Hi

2 things you can consider in same situation, previous trend down, so I was ready to short this pair at market open, but if I waited LO theres a tendency that the price will run away from the touch of EMA 10 , so that spot was the best price I could get on-board

Now TDI was crossing MBL, and some traders might think long, but from backtesting and forward testing in trending market, often LO or FO will set the high as Phx62 always told us, often PA will print 2 candles in row in different color, in downtrend it will print most likely 2 blue candles at FO last hour and LO first hour or at LO + 2 hours, from there PA will fail to break MBL and turns into the direction of the prevailing trend

At the time of opening the trade , you will see that TDI is crossing MBL and will cross over but later on TDI will turn over and continue in the direction of the trend, so here I called it MBL acting as resistance, often PA will falsely break resistance and pullback in the direction of the trend , and it does the same with MBL

So far what I have noticed too that LO will set the high or low based on M15 divergence, have seen that many times, but I still cant get into the mentality of getting it right , so that alone is a work in progress, in GJ case there was M15 divergence too

Also TDI often makes double tops or bottom, in this GJ short it made double tops, so that also something I like to watch and takes trades based on that too

So call that TDI double tops too

Superb trading and great explanation , I hope someday I can remember all of these things in the heat of battle , I struggle to do that .

Thanks for your supports Kmw. I love div so it could not get away without me, dont need indies for such a beautiful setup.
Ah, didn't know someone actually keep an eye on my trade explorer while I was so naughty with this acct. will behave myself from now on

Ha, wondered about ya when I first saw your explorer a few weeks back, the way it had gone down I was just happy to see last weeks winning trades in there.
My first live account a couple of years ago was going down as well so I left trading before I lost it all.
As for naughty, my own trade explorer will show the last seven trades as naughty trading as well, I got stuck short in a couple of pairs during the week I did a hedge to get them back. Made good pips doing it but I regarded the whole episode as dirty trading. I really need to trade clean like some of the people in here. I'll explain more tomorrow in another post about that. Midnight here

I turned mt4 off and loaded a game up and played that for a while. finishing a couple of chapters and decide to check mt4 once again to find I was 300 pips in profit. ( remember I was multilot trading ) Closed all 5 trades as quickly as I could upon seeing that.

Maybe I should have stayed in on those sells as the pair eventually went to around 200% fib, That would have been a phenomenal trade, but I was happy to be out of the trade in the way I finally exited.

Now to the chart, first thing I noticed is that you brought in a downtrend, The yellow line in the TDI indicator shows that. Your bad . I did the opposite, sold in an uptrend, my bad , only I got away with it THIS TIME

The actual numbers are in the trade explorer if anyone wanst to have a gander at them

A nice, easy, 4 day H4 trade that hit TP over the weekend. A lot less stress and monitoring.
Trade was taken on the H1 time frame at LO following a PCRF and then moved to the H4 time frame after a strong move down.
