i caught the cup and handle pattern and went long at 105.400 and exited @105.650 for 500,000 long thanks to the previous couple of posts. wouldn't have noticed that chart pattern. 1,250 profit in 30 minutes of trading. loving it

Look anyone any time can be wrong.Trading is just probability game.If you are referring Chris Chart which I know by heart his record is pretty solid profitable.
UJ has baffled lot of good traders.
Each trader takes responsibility for his trades.That's the bottom line.

Folks, especially new traders. PLEASE never follow another trader. No matter how good you might think they are you have NO idea what THEIR plan is. I get it wrong at times just like EVERYONE else.

To add on to this, we can never control the PA and all we can do this adapt to the current PA and adjust our strategy according and managing the risk.
To me we can never control how much profit we can have, but only the money we can risk..

i am alos long on UJ, but what level should TP, it remains a mystery to me?
There are several possibilities, of which I list two here.
1) You expect to close a trade within a few hours or minutes. If this is true then you take whatever the market gives at the point you want to take it. That may be because you have 20 pips, that may be because price cut back through an MA line, or it may be because news is about to publish, or it may be because NCIS is about to start on TV.
2) You expect to close a trade within days or weeks. Some people build big positions gradually by adding new trades to existing positions, and always protect their profits or exposure with SL for each position. Some people look at long term charts such as weekly and decide whether there is a level coming which might make a target (long at the moment might be 107.25). In this longer term case you really need to think in advance about the last part below.
Whether you are trading 1) or 2) you must think about what might happen to show that you have made a wrong call or bad entry, and what you are then going to do about it. This last part is the most important part of any trade.

it can only keep going up
dreaming fast cars an loads off hoes
F&&&&k went 105.5 TP 105.95
The ole random YEN retrace which nobody ever talks about
When it fell 105.7 to 104.7
On close held short at 105.1 to 103
Just have to wait for another burst up to sort the shit out
