EURUSD:

The 1/4 level is current support area, with price oscillating there as the MMs build. Frankfurt open pushed price up on increased volume. This is bullish. The key SR level is the half number and the key to entry is a breakout of that level.

We might look for a run up to the half number and a retrace back to some local PA support before things start to build more seriously for a breakout of the half number. As you can see, there is already a bullish PA wave. But so early in the LS, this is likely to make another high and another pullback.

More EUR and USD releases come tomorrow, so more flies in the ointment, but just based on the chart, this could progress upwards some today. Maybe the MMs will coax in longs today so they can Stop Hunt them tomorrow. We can never know what is coming. For today though, the chart has some promise.

Not sure if you can even draw a nicer looking Classic Long than what GU has presented this morning..
TL and Dragon has not yet fully turned, but is really close, and PA was above both...

Welcome to the thread adrazz.

Just read the Page #1 info several times, and make use of the
search functions on Forex Factory and you will be just fine.

Thank you for your report. Over the weekend, we had a release that reduced the number of ticks delivered. Because the tick volume is so high, this had negligible effect on the actual prices delivered to our clients and it helps to preserve the integrity of our trading servers and the quality of pricing delivered to our clients.

OANDA values each client's suggestion and idea, however, the inquiry what you are looking for is not available within OANDA. Because the procedure cannot be reversed, OANDA is continuing to delivery quality information and this change will help our system to reduce the negligible effect on the actual prices delivered to our clients and it helps to preserve the integrity of our trading servers and the quality of pricing delivered to our clients.

The issue is whether or not the lower TF charts still show relative changes as before. If yes, then all is okay. If the volume is now more uniform, so that the true relative changes are smoothed out, then the volume becomes less useful. This is the issue.

It is bull shit when they say things cannot be reversed. They might not be able to be reversed, but that is a deceptive statement. They can still be further changed! Other brokers have done so to insure the usefulness of the volume display (ref: TradersWay). If the volume is now smoothed, suggest they simply factor the ticks by dividing by an integer - exactly as I outlined in my previous posts. This they can do, and easily so. And they should do it if they want to keep clients. If the volume still shows relative changes as before (and you can check by looking at the volume display by other brokers), then everything is okay.

Please let us know the results.
