Dislikedi have a question about the basket writer ea (Basket_Writer_v3_670). on a blank chart i have this ea running several times, each instance is producing an offline chart for a certain basket and timeframe. let's say it is attached 3 times for "GBP6": one for M15, one for H1 and one for H4. all those offline charts are opened. at the very beginning all 3 charts were in "sync", means, they were showing the same price of 300.00. every evening i close my mt4 instance on my local computer and in the morning of the next day i start the mt4 again, open the...Ignored
DislikedHello All, I would appreciate it if someone could explain (or point me to an explanation) the relationship to the pair placed on the BASE chart from which the OFFLINE chart is created. In other words, why would we use the EURUSD pair to create a base chart for a JPY basket, ...and when the the resulting offline chart comes up, the HAS and ixo indicators are referring to the EURUSD pair, even though we are using a JPY7 basket, for example? I understand the concept of the relationship to some pairs moving in the same or the opposite direction to each...Ignored
Disliked{quote} 1) You do not need to have more than 1 Basket Writer running, you only use it to create the baskets, once created you can stop it and remove it.
2) The baskets are created with the Basket_Create indicator, which should be left on the blank chart and running, you will have more than one of these on the same blank chart if you create more than one basket.Ignored
Disliked{quote} 3) The numbers (300) do not mean anything and when you first create a basket the basket will be roughly centered around 300, this XX_Fact will vary from basket to basket depending on when the basket was created. It is kept as a Global Variable in case you stop and restart the indicator, it will then use the same XX_Fact in case you have an open order on that basket so the chart is created the same as it was the first time. As I said, these numbers (300) don't mean anything unless you stop and restart when a trade is in progress, than you...Ignored
Disliked{quote} The only reason to use the EURUSD is to have a pair that is active enough so you get enough ticks for the Basket Create indicator, you can use any chart you want as it makes no difference. As to your other question I would suggest you watch the video, as it is all explained there.Ignored
DislikedI think I just figured it out. The base chart is just a vehicle to pile the pairs into, like taxi. One just needs to find 3 or 4 friends who are all planning to go to same place and get them in the taxi and hope they don't change their minds on the way.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hi there, The issue with Demo is your are not that emotional about your trades and therefore don't really take it as serious even if you think you do. The best way is to go live with Penny account and see how differently you will trade. Just give it a try and you will see what I mean.
