Looks like the Euro held up for a bit due to the options expiry @ EURUSD 1.3400 (EUR 459m).. Now to see if we get a nice drop once thats been done

as the image attachment. eur/usd at 1.3390 still reflects little QE left by the FED. Although Media Style Eur Crisis alone can also bring eur/usd under 1.32. Crisis are great time to buy.

this indeed, only reason the EUR is up, therefore also really volatile.

Price action suggest a move down, but the formation we have had on the m15 on eu says ACCUMULATION to the upside. We had that little pop past yesterdays high, and that same candle closed red. I would say long here, and close long once the price closes under 1.3377 If you stop out once the price closes under 1.3377 on the 15m I would follow the short all the way to yesterdays low.

EU Weekly Wrap Up
No doubt we are going in next week with 1.3400 and 1.3350 on two ends.

I'd say this range would hold till below events spark any volatility depends on what the meeting / speech content is,

  1. 8/20/14 11:00 AM (GMT-8) USD FOMC Minutes
  2. 8/22/14 07:00 AM (GMT-8) USD Yellen speaks
  3. 8/22/14 11:30 AM (GMT-8) EUS Draghi speaks (less likely to have good amount of volatility for the day since speech takes place towards the end of Friday section, but might affect EU the following week)​

short term reversal indicator - Price action is good to start.

short term trend indicator - Moving average and combination of it.

i use the awesome oscillator to look for divergence. i found it a very good tool for me when searching for possible reversals. You may also want to use MACD , which is very similar.

Like many others, I use Bollinger bands to help me get a feel of what the market is doing.

and i use a EMA(200) to tell me some levels to look for, in different time frames.

These are all the indicators that I use to trade. Hope this helps.


Also, it is my understanding that, if you are trading on your discretion , the trader him/herself is the most important, indicators are just tools.
