You ask an interesting question.

The higher the TF chart, the less we know about the volume, and by the time we get to the H4 and Day charts about all we can tell from the volume is whether or not the PA of that TF candle is more relevant than others.

For example, if the Day chart shows candles progressing to a high, and at the highest we see the most volume, we have significance. A top might have just been made. But if the highest candle is of routine volume then we might expect the next candle(s) to continue the rise in price.

For contrast, if we drop to the M1 chart we can see minute by minute if the market is favoring trading at the various lows or highs as price moves along.

Since you trade H4 and Day charts, you can probably acclimate yourself to viewing the volume on the H4 bars for the Day as a way of discerning if the volume favored the highs or lows for the day, a breakdown of the Day volume as it were.

So, you see that on different TF charts the volume can reveal different things, from the micro-view of the M1 TF chart to the macro-view of the Day chart.

A lot of writings on volume and PVSRA are provided on this thread. For more information, I suggest you start by wading thru Post #1 and the material linked therein. You can also "search" the thread for keywords like "volume" and "PVSRA". There is no telling what might come up.

Mr. Bull, by the TAH lesson, and with the big bottomline words "free of charge", all sonicer get benefit to develop a good skill at manage the risk and become profitable trader. I'm the one that disciple him... as per rule in sonic, that no pic no post, here I post again as a living prove and fact, that each trader have their way to manage the risk. EURAUD closed remaining short positions as I didn't what I was seeing. This started as a late entry classic after a small retrace, then I began to add scouts as PA justified. I'm not a big-time baller so I as you see I broke up my position a couple times to cover other poor trades.
