so today I start getting the common error when I try start up mt4 , chatting online with the broker it seems a few of their demo people are suffering the same error redownloaded mt4 from the broker and still get the same problem. Go to another broker and download their mt4 demo which is working So now I got to set it up eelfranz stye again which means I got to find all those interesting indicators again just as well I know where they are
"You know what needs to be addressed , completely completely reverse that".

Yes my broker has high spread about 7 on gbp pairs...and news time it even goes on to 9 + i guess...i did put stoploss on GBPNZD but not on GBPAUD...Ah that's make scence...Thanks lastingwell....By the way nice trading you ...

Copy them from the old folders to the new one, its the easiest way.

no more position on this pair. Aud looks like weakening. Had taken a long on G/A as my chart shows support here. ..not TMS trade

I deleted everything of the old mt4 though revo uninstaller, had a few of the indicators saved on my comp though, nearly back up and running


found them all in my downloads folder,,,,,, save

I guess I was breaking the 1st rule! I was not clicking on "Open Data Folder" so that may have been my problem. Once I open that folder which subfolder do I put the indicators in? MQL4? Also can you send me the TDI Watchdog indicator? Thanks again, and thanks for mentioning what should have been obvious to me.

Its easily done thats why I mentioned it.

Folder is MQL4 - Indicators, the watchdog attached is the one I'm using.

I'm back up and running but still had that common error this morning, seems to be a connection to broker/server problem. Guessing because I downloaded another broker's mt4 which works perfectly. Took about 3 minutes before my preferred broker's mt4 started properly this morning
I've rebuilt the chart on the Heiken Ashi template but have started to wonder if there is a way of saving that template with all the indicators to my comp so I can simply reload it again if the error happens again.



Googled it Led me back to another thread in this forum. To easy, charts > template > save template. Scrolled bar on the side of the applet and clicked on desktop. Yep she's there

Welcome to this thread (I guess you are new as I've not seen you here before).

I have been using this TMS method since June and it has delivered green pips for me beside those trades which incurred losses that I went in against higher time frames (TF) setup or saying against trend.

MM is the hardest part of trading even it was mentioned many times in the past when to enter/ exit trades from the great starter of this thread (if you have not read Big E's comments pls take time to do so as it helped me a lot and I still re-read his words and other experience traders using TMS who contributed their time and efforts to help us here.

No shortcut. Need time & patience to study rules and charts and trade live account with small lots (demo acct did not help me to be in 'trading zone' as it s not real and what ever it s not real I don't focus nor pay full attention hehehe..., btw, it s my own opinion only). Demo only helped me while I learnt to know my trading softwares/setup my charts/ how to place a trade etc... when I first started trading.

I have not experienced a loss from TMS method since I paid good attentions to PA, S/R, angle of current TF and higher TF TDi, exit trade before news of the pair which I am currently in, taking partial profits and let the trade running until it hit trailing SL/PT. Lots of time my PT hit ATR(7) x 1.5, then price stalled/got choppy and came back to my trailing SL, a few other times it delivered more than ATR(7)x2. I do not trade into 200EMA (very strong S/R).

Below are the inputs I have been using. You may need different inputs depending on what you want to see, most of the values I've just left as they were. I wanted to watch more pairs comfortably so I needed a reliable alert at the open of the candle and so far this looks good after I saw britpip7 was using it. but none of the values are set in stone at the moment I am still tweaking it.

Hey Pivotpower,

I found the below info from Britpip7's thread named 'Trading Made Simple for Day Charts' regarding slope values. I don't know anything about changing inputs as I don't think I need to except changing color of the bands. Hope it helps.

"TDI Watchdog - the slope is showing you the angle of the TDI / associated cross / bounce.

The theory is that the slope value for a cross should be above 4.5 - the values shown represent the TDI slope for the current candle and previous candle.

For a bounce the value should be at least 3.0...."

What is PA? Price action ?
and what is angle of current TF ?
