If tomorrow unemployment claim figure is bad, UJ should drop below 102.

USD strength is coming from the end of QE. Also the US economy is stepping up, even though these figures are a bit disappointing.
Japan economy has gone into reverse perhaps, will see in a few months, and there will be hints in the other data coming out of Japan.

I am not saying that you are not right but until USDJPY goes down how much will go up? 50pips? 100 pips?...still in up trend...

I think 102.600-102.800 is the highest it's going to get in the near future.
I see downward movement over the next few weeks

All the people here commenting about how its gonna go down really makes me feel like buying instead of selling. I feel like I'm in the wrong direction when people say its going somewhere with no reasonable charts.
A 1 pip gain is better than a 1 pip loss.

I have been watching this forum for 2 months and little more since June 2014.

I see some people, whom I have given the respect to by reading their posts recently, are screaming and believing that it will go down to 101 zone or below.
Just too much confusion going on with some of you claiming whether it will go down or up, without a single supporting factor.

I had to make an account to write this to give you heads up,
that instead of believing "this time is going to be different,"
you need to get real factor here. although MACD indicates that USD/JPY supposedly already below 102 by this time, this currency is way over what it is supposed to seem.

Therefore, my trade has been long since it hit twice 101 region (disclaimer, I am not writing this for you to follow my trade position! just make your own decision with your own reason) and I sold half of my lots when it hit 103 days ago.

Since there are not big forces/guts from hedge funds to have this currencies pair driven to 101 region because many lots are still being held on belief of it going up(stuck in the 102 range because many individuals are selling against the trend),
my position is steady and firm so I am not here to argue nor going to your computer to change your trade style.
Just to say that it isn't too late to think again what we are going for because majority who are against this market uptrend might somewhat get screwed soon.

Hi wellforex, If you are looking for a "home run" here, i think you are looking at the wrong thread.
UJ has been going between 101 and 103 for almost 27 weeks now. All 4H+ trend indicators are pretty much useless on UJ.
It's a good pair for trading range. Anything above 103 or below 101 might lead to a major run up or run down.
If u luv happiness, start w/ discomfort, make friends w/ pain and failure.

You must realize that all people read different news, also that geopoliticals could blow any time but that is no reason to stay frozen and not trade at all. The Ukraine crisis this days has been digested and as a matter of a fact putinīs goons are having several defeats (if you compare it to the way they were positioned one month ago). So unless the Russian Humanitarian trucks are loaded with guns and army there is no reason to go short right now because of Ukraine.

Indeed is better to go long on UJ, but intraday shorts a bit wider than psychological numbers work perfectly fine. The pair is awsome as long as a big geopolitical doesnt hit it. I would short it this days around 103,10 -20.

Nice to know that you went long at that price mate, however you could squeeze more trades out of it.
