Dislikedgood day funny q@a here 1) hadox is right: NO one needs a 24/7-dax-indication. thatīs only a "very special service" from "friendly" brokers in order to generate extra-orders from the retail crowd. main dax-trading in german banks is from 09:00 - 17:30 h, definitely not before 08:00 h and not after 22:00 h. 2) therefore, gap-close is an often practiced intraday-tactic in german banks. 3) london opening is neither hypothetical nor empirical relevant for dax-trading.Ignored

This will mean that the open surge in the market which always happens at that time, cannot be traded. This morning is a good example as my moving averages gave me a buy signal on the Dax from 6am. Disliked{quote} i disagree: at 7:00 london time, you have the pre-day low, high, close, opening price. you have the trendlines (200d, 90d). you have pivots and the volume from eurex. i donīt trade dax before 09:00 and not after 17:30 - you donīt have the cashprice, which is elementary for me (no arbitrage pricing possible). but each man to his own.Ignored
Disliked{quote} For most brokers that is correct. This chart shows what happened yesterday & today while most brokers were "Asleep" Hence the "Gaps" on most peoples charts. {image}Ignored
Dislikedlong @ 9165 tp hit for 20pips {quote} deltaone maybe this link can help you link http://www.investing.com/indices/germany-30-components Personally, I trade with the DAX components. So for example I don't take shorts when the majority of the DAX components are up for the day and vise versa. It isn't to say the DAX can't drop, but it helps as a filter if you keep an eye on it. {image}Ignored
