{quote} Nice trade! I'm trying to follow your trading method, but I'm still making mistakes. Here is UC short trade I took today and it was a loosing one. PA broke DP and formed Dark Cloud cover pattern (as I see it). But it reversed and went up. Please let me know what you think. Thank you in advance. {image}

Cold, it seems that your pivots are off. Would suggest to check against some pics here from previous days and diff pairs. Mine DP on UJ today is 102.176.

{quote} You too.....I do hope you find time to look at the DAX - IMO its made for your trading.....and its moves are in our time zone..... Whilst I was having lunch there was another 30+ pt pop up off a small HL in a neat little wedge to the **50 level.....now for the US Session where it pays to keep an eye on the S&P

Islander, good to see youve reappeared! Does S&P drag the Dax around? If so, during which times? NY open, Frankie or NY close?

Thank you, will check it. But the trade was on UC, not UJ.

Cold, on your 15 min chart, after what I see as your point of entry, there's a shooting-star candle, followed by a large confirming bearish candle. Ideally, in my opinion, your entry point should have been just below that candle.
Hope you don't mind my pointing this out.

I think I've put price tag in a wrong place. Entry was right after the close of candle with down arrow. I belive we're talking about the same point, right?
Thank you for your comments, I really appreciate it!

It's my fault. Have to be more accurate with those price tags. Once again thank you for sharing your opinion.

Hi Barry - thanks. The S&P tends to be the leader in the afternoon session - Europe-wise......especially watch once the NYSE opens at 9:30 am NY, so currently 13:30 gmt

There are however other times when the DAX is excellent for trading - although IMO its best to be down amongst the weeds on the 1m chart to see the action.......here, my trade after LO was a typical HL buy.

The yellow lines are from KiwiOz's thread and are price projections..........

Cheers

Islander

M15 GJ
PA broke DP and pulled back to test it. After that bullish harami candle appeared and I jumped in.

Below your entry point, there's a red line and a grey line. It would be helpful to know what they are, brother, if you don't mind.
