spot a short set up on UCAD Daily @resistant. What made me worried is that TDI red is still above 68 level and confirming candle is too small to enter, so I placed a pending order around 38% of the previous candle (skinny blue APB).
Please comment if I missed anything (I often make mistakes/ wrong entries on D1 charts)

Technically today could be classified as candle 1 coinciding with the TDI cross.

I hae a similar view of this one with a possibility of 200+pips if PA continues through the 200ema

I added some notes on GJ trade, hope this evident, as I said earlier, I use TMS with harmonic as Phx62, and dcinic do, look up Phx62 book and you would see he started learning about harmonic as in ABCD which I mostly use , hope that dont triggers negative traders mindset nagging we are changing what Big E started, cant believe it

And if you look at TDI on H1, there was already a cross , green and red going clearly in the same direction at the time of opening the trade, even on m15 it was the case

Below is H1 and M15 at the time of opening the trade, I advise everyone in TMS to do the same, take those pics at the opening of the trade for lower time frame or higher time frame as you well, for future analysis , what worked and what not etc....

I missed the good looking short on UCHF on H4 (TDI Daily stepping down fr 68 level), I placed a limit sell in case it comes back (stock @o/s at this moment). Noted that the previous short did not turn out good even though green crossed red below yellow but tdi daily did not support sellers (marked on the attachment)

Trading News is risky....i use small lot to trade news with tight SL 25 pip...as i am practicing on my real micro account....

I set the page refresh duration to 5 sec before news...I also read article about that particular news at http://www.bloomberg.com/markets/cur...g.com/......to get some idea

Partially take profit as it may reverse after even 50 pip move

2 screen side by side....as the news release...market hesitate for couple of second...by this time my refresh done and i can see the news result...and execute the trade..

I don't trade all 3 star news as they don't all are market mover..Only Employment and interest rate news

You can try on demo...a little practice you can even execute the trade before the refresh done by watching candle move....

Again..Trading news is Risky...i see you are doing very well with TMS...Please Demo ...

Thats a strategy on its own, thanks for your kindness, will practice that on Demo first, I always wanted to do this kind around news but could not do it, so might be a good starting point, trading news is risky and every trader should gain confidence first by forward testing and if possible back testing too, before doing an real trading

Took a trade last night, in on the second candle, saw profit a few minutes later ($54) and ed out on the same candle, woke up this morning to see I'd missed out on most of a good trade Best TDI cross I've seen in the few days I've been using eelfranz type trades. Strong short on that red line I put on the chart, TDI angles both red and green going down. Never mind though, learning something.

Gold Trades since yesterday, 2 trades long with trend, trend trading if understood well, is way better than counter trend trading, I know I had draw-down, but am trying to improve on that with correct timings entry , I think the difficult part is to executes trade with trend, I think I always thinks that the trend is over and it proves me wrong many times, so I am doing lots of study at the moment to understand how to follow the trend.

2 trades +50 and + 20

EU _ M15 trades today , totally misunderstood how to trade EU, US news were positive, I waited news finished, wanted to buy US instead as newbie mistakes I sold off US, I wanted to buy US instead , anyway lost 20 pips, then took 2 trades in the direction of the main trend , Phx62 has always said that after news PA tends to fill the wicks that H1 candles prints at News so with M15 divergence , and US positive data release I went with the trend

First trade - 20 , second and third total + 30

Help needed!
I know this has been discussed but I really have a hard time determining correct TDI angle. So I did a quick search in this thread and found 2 indicators:

1. tdi angle (post #12,357): Somehow this one doesn't seem to work anymore. Anyone has any idea why?

2. TMS Watchdog: This one will probably get the job done. But I don't know about the acceptable values for the slope numbers, i.e. what numbers are equivalent to 12 to 2 and 4 to 6 on the face of a clock? Anyone can help?

Also if anyone has any other method other than imagining a clock, kindly share please!

Hi Zhanghuo, I have learnt a lot from others in this thread and stumbled up and down in trading from my creative trading style . Here is what I found that might help you to have a better view (see attachment with my note and marks on the chart). By the way, I don't read slope numbers, only trade what I see from the look at my charts. I believe other experienced traders have more to share or you just study their charts and learn from them. Hope it helps.

P.S: this is my trading style only and it has helped me. I appreciate Britpip, Lastingwell and a few others sharing their experience and views. I have no intention to change Big E's rules, the great father of this thread, so do not shout at me for not keeping it original... Cheers,

*sorry for my typo mistake about my notes on the chart it should read: H4 TDi cross above yellow line for buy, vice versa for sell.
