Afternoon all!

My humble opinion and trade idea for today.

EURUSD - went long from today's low with TP @ 78.6% fib (of today's high - low), then at same level went short - 1.3380
Reason for going short - I don't see much positive fundamentals for EUR and situation in Ukraine is escalating and we are still in downtrend looking at bigger time frame.

GBPUSD - i did pretty much the same as above - short from 1.6857 - today's high-low 78.6% retracement as no change was expected in BOE actions, and that probably would lead to little disappointment and GBP is more likely to go down.

EURCAD - Im short from 1.4622 - based on expectation of EUR decline and better than expected or at least close to forecast CAD PMI number - looking for +/-50pips TP

Yen is getting stronger against chf/usd/eur and while eur/gbp is going up it looks like there will be setup to remove way for euro to pop up but on condition that there will be decent bids on GBPUSD to bounce ahead of 1.6800.

If not and usdchf pops above 0.9100 it may mean on weekly basis that usdchf starts running up against 0.9150/09200.

It all adds up to the fact this will be a tough call overall when gbpchf has been traded both sides of 1.5300 today.
They think they are smarter than I am.

Closed ½ longs from yesterday, the bull seems like its fading. The rest will be at BE. Something is clearly missing and Mr ECB is not a Safe bull card right now as it seems. If we get back to the 3378-80 level i might even put a short out there. The earlier 3364 has now grown to a 3365.

what is happening right now is high frequency traders and remote supercomputers trading forex trying to correct a problem at 1.33638.
Notice the problem allowed us to know how the news will turn out.
The data is encoded in price history. That is why I am 99.9% a technical analyst.

IMHO the bears still have some unfinished bizz in the 1.3330 area, they took the pair there and then they just let let the price go up with no opposition yesterday.
Why sell the bottoms when you can buy the tops...
