I saw an increase of Red Volume bars and then a predominance of them later, and price had spiked up above the half number numerous times. Entered a couple of scouts and viola!{image}

What's so special about the Whole number that keeps MM running back to her. And today of all days before her big employment data?
Maybe loading up on some longs
When I read H1 I see highest volume happening just below whole number, but I'm also illiterate.

On this occasion there was a fairly hefty move up with a serious Climax candle indicating possible imminent exhaustion and the RDH fast approaching, offering resistance. I took these factors as my queue to open some scouts to go short:

Sure it was great to see the rise in PA, but now zooming out to H4 we see a wick nearly 25 pips long. I entered long last night after what I interrupted as a Stop hunt on longs, but now I see concerns today's move could be stopping volume on what we see in H4 is still a Bear run.
Now a follow up question, which is purely speculation. But, if we're assuming MM's were Bulls should this latest after hours move concern us. Sure it was great to see the rise in PA, but now zooming out to H4 we see a wick nearly 25 pips long. I entered long last night after what I interrupted as a Stop hunt on longs, but now I see concerns today's move could be stopping volume on what we see in H4 is still a Bear run.

We have perhaps the start of an upwards channel. And, yes, the next move might be a retrace in the uptrend. Or, is this last move up a retrace in a longer established down trend? Analysis paralysis? As Master Sonicdeejay says, "Let the Dragon and PA show the way." Up and down moves are the nature of the market. They are manufactured by the Robber Banks and what enables the Robber Banks to make their profits. We must not let undue concern set in over them. If we cannot come to peace with them we should not be traders. We must learn to broaden our assessments to recognize more of the possibilities for them, and have our plan mapped out that accommodates them and what we will do about it - Hold, Fold or Add - if any of them happen. This is what it means to be a trader.
In support of the idea that the next move might not be down, but might be a continuation upwards, note the Day chart is trending up.........
