Hello everybody, if there is room for it, I would like to join you by posting the mistakes I make on my demo account, having other point of view on them might help me improve my understanding about trading.
So, for now, due to personal preferences, I would like to stick to divergence trading, and be really picky about them (targeting 2, maybe 3 decent intra-day trades per week at the moment).
My attempt for today was a short on GBPUSD using H1 Stochastics, to which I would like to add a question :
-Should I consider this divergence not being valid because the left spike was made last friday ?
In advance, lots of thanks to whoever wants to help me !

USDCAD : break of DP, stoch open, price above both EMAs, faster heading up.
Closed too early. TP was intended at 1.0940 a that was hit.

I'm a little late posting these two trades, as something cropped up before I could post them on here. However, here goes......
After a period of consolidation on the main pivot line, finishing with a few lower highs, price dropped like a stone. Price dropped through MS1 and retraced back before dropping very dramatically again, before pushing through S1, where I exited my second trade. Entries and exits clearly shown on the chart.

Another great morning for banking pts off the DAX....so far its got a 100 pt range and its not difficult to bank 20 - 40 pts a swing..... PS Its best to ignore FH - as my old buddy Sonic says, the PA before LO is not reliable.... PSS last trade closed for +20.....its time for lunch.... {image}

Whilst I was having lunch there was another 30+ pt pop up off a small HL in a neat little wedge to the **50 level.....now for the US Session where it pays to keep an eye on the S&P

This would have been a nice little trade for around 10 pips or so up to now, but I missed it due to other circs. The circle highlights a nice bullish piercing pattern, slightly above S1. Motto: "Always watch for a nice candlestick pattern (reversal or continuation) when price reaches a pivot line."
