Trying ECAD for the sake of understanding PA and TDI , BE at the moment

There was previous small ABCD completion zone, TDI green red, MBL, 50 line were all crossing at the same time, I kind of anticipated the golden gross, and went long on M15 bar candle , there was divergence too on M15

Will see how far this one goes, currently reistence holding PA, look left

Found an interesting thing here I'm not touching. I think it's a trap for the unwary. Watching gbp/usd on the 4hr chart thinking it's signaling short, waiting for the second candle to confirm, flick to the daily chart only to find it's saying long. Check the lower time charts to see tdi's turning up in them. I don't think the 4hr short is going to be a go. gbp's broken south of the rising support line but maybe it wants to get back up there, that signal on the daily suggests so to me. My thoughts anyway, trust you's don't mind

Which is exactly the reason I have the higher timeframe tdi on my h4 chart.

hey thor the reason that trade, although it looked good from just the cross, didnt work is because you were trading against the immediate larger trend. you mentioned Lastingwell, but if you notice Lastingwell only takes trades with the immediate lerger trend. if you look on his charts you will see he also has a D1 mtf TDI indicator added. if you had added that to your chart you would probably see that it was against the D1 mtf TDI, ie the green would have been over the red line. so no short. since i have been trading in accordance with Lastingwells...

Nope this thread has been hijacked by very good traders but nevertheless it is no longer the original. Now is you want the original look under the "Trading Journal" area and then click on Trading Made Simple the Right Way. Only eelfranz type templates are allowed and discussed.

I just took this trade. All the rules were met. The overall prevailing trend is down, so a short is ideal, TDI crossed with very good angle, Stochastics are turning down to add confluence. Lets see where this takes me.

Help please!!!
Could you please anyone tell me why I cannot see the US economic news calendar on the Forex Factory browser as normal? I've not noticed this until last Friday on NFP.
Attached is my screenshot which did not show the US Trade Balance on 19:30 (Vietnamese time) compared to Myfxbook.com (also attached screenshot) as it should be.

I've posted charts where I have the higher timeframe tdi on the chart and support/resistance on the chart. Eelfranz may not have had support/resistance on his chart but he looked at them anyway. He looked at the h1 chart quickly before he took a trade, I look at D1 instead before I take a trade, I just have the multi timeframe tdi on there because then its in my face and I don't have to remember to look at it.

The original called for making trades at only certain times of day, and cutting losses quickly, neither of those things are in the thread you mention.

If you prefer I can post a plain template and tell you I only look at the cross on h4 but that would be dishonest and newer traders would find it difficult to do the same.

I was using the supply/demand indicator attached which is pretty good (I had it set to the higher timeframe), but now I'm drawing mine myself from the higher timeframes.

I went ahead and closed this trade due to price nearing a historical significant support area. I also cannot monitor the trade while i am at work so i exited with +47 Pips.

No Problem - you and anyone else can post any charts you want - not saying you are wrong as this happen to most threads on FF -
just pointing out what has happened and referred person to a thread that tries to keep the original thread going in the way intended by the thread starter the great eelfranz.

I would hate to think of myself as a hijacker so will leave the thread as I don't find it easy trading exactly the way Eelfranz did, as a lot of people don't. I've seen lots of traders saying how profitable it is just looking at the H4 chart and the cross, but I've only seen Bizzle actually do that of recent times, I haven't seen even a chart of yours to help newer traders tomthepopop although you've said its really profitable, Eelfranz always wanted to help newer traders.

Even the thread starter of Trading Made Simple the right way, and other trading lessons doesn't trade exactly as Eelfranz did, he doesn't just trade at certain times of day, he doesn't cut his losses quickly, but he shows an eelfranz template. I won't do that because its not an honest reflection of how I trade, perhaps someone will step into Bizzle's shoes and show the way its done, perhaps you will show people how you trade it as by your posts you seem to be doing well with it.

Big E only had a few HARD rules. People here break them regularly. He did not say that money management was one of his HARD rules, he just said that was just his style.

Big E was very very clear on his signals. And he was fighting people on that up till his last posts. All that is asked is to be strict on the signals. How hard is that?
