Quoting OrangeRoshanDislikedSometimes everything of both and sometimes one part of both. The fib lines helps to maximise profits & minimise loss. Both tunnels (Vegas& Sidus) tell great stuffs about prices. So far, made 87 trades with only 3 bad ones. Not bad for a newbie. Cant wait for the Part II!Ignored
You seem to be the one that has implemented SIDUS with the greatest success, so far. This is my experience:
I'm a great fan of this method. In my first post I mentioned that I had made 60 pips in two days (with two lots = 120 US$), both on EUR/USD. But, once I changed to use the method with EUR/GBP I've got MAYOR LOSSES (I've lost the 60 pips and another 100 pips I had made the week before). Why?
Number 1: This pair is more expensive (spread) - any error will cost twice as much - so this is not a fault of the system (was my problem, as I wasn't aware of the spread cost)
Number 2:
(I can't paste a CHART picture to show you, it seems not to work)
But the two WMA's crossed the tunnel upwards. The tunnel was opening, and the trade looked good to enter LONG (following the suggestions from the pdf - red tunnel crossed and reopening again).
I entered LONG, it peaked and the two came down like rocks, southwards, crossing the red tunnel in the other direction....i left it there going into -50 pips....SOLD OFF and since the red tunnel AND the WMA's showed that being SHORT was the right thing to do, I did that....one hour later they went back up again, crossing the tunnel for a LONG signal - I've had to go out and loose another 50 pips.....this time I didn't have the nerve to go LONG again......
Since then I've been following the system on the charts, but have not traded with it.....I did not have the courage to follow it again.....If I had, I saw that I could have done some decent pips with EUR/USD.....
I'm looking forward to all of your comments and the continuation of this thread. We should come up with some refinement of details, like:
- For how many pips MAX is this system good?
- How long should I wait for the red tunnel to open itself? (if you wait too long you're on the last end of the trend and will morelikely catch only the last few pips - incurring the risk of loss). If you do it too early you can get burnt...
Peter.
To Sidus: I'm still a fan of this simple system and look forward to your work. Thanks man.
