Better medium-term support for the Dax is around the 9,000 mark for now.

The upcoming European Banks Stress test might give some good trades in the stock market. I took Deutsche Bank long trade, hoping to grab something out of any gaps, Deutsche Bank and Barclays Trades

Weekly DAX UTLs broken 450 pts. below 9600

Minor support @ 9425 gone

TLs underneath: 9050 , 8720 after that nothing until 6750-6500 area - - lowest extreme TL sits @ 5000 right now

Immediate support cluster below TL : 8910, 8770, 8550

8770-8720 zone support/TL confluence

Immediate resistance: 9420, 9730

Way higher probability to the downside now. Next week coming up should be more selling. Markets are still in bull mkt but corrections happen. While some may think the top is in and we're going to go into a bear market, I do not think that is the case yet. Believe we will be making new highs by year end…but for now a healthy correction that will disappoint many people who will get caught short.

For now people seem to have been buying the dips too early. The time will come for the buy… not yet. s&p 1850-1840 level will likely be seen this month, that is an area I'm considering covering shorts and going long.

I'm also open to a bigger correction than this… will have to wait and see

This dax component had the lion share of the selloff this week , down 28% .

So much for world cup eurphoria == See ya , Don't wanna be ya .

What do you reckon. I made the wrong call last week and got caught with a loss. Was expecting a bounce but sell off increased instead.

they pulled a fast one on FOMC

the Dow has just hit some fairly major support on the Daily
the last time it did the same it then started the 2013 rally when everyone thought it would continue down
so careful of shorts
watch those trend indis, best to only short when they are all fully down,

Day after FOMC was tricky but writing was on the wall days prior i.e. risk to the downside. It's oversold now but it can be even more oversold.....better to wait for the dust to settle somewhat before getting involved. Good thing with dax is it could resolve fairly quickly within days so that we'll have more to work with.

Goldman sach is buying dax indexes heavily on this deep, dax is called performance index for some reason, seeing a big rally up on this.

From my point of view :
for today I'll trade as follow ( based on 30 min chart)

if open > 9238.5 --> long
if open < 9198 --> short

even if ... I prefer for now the long side
