wow what a move, im really quite new so i pulled out early anyone who had the balls to stay with this well done you must have banked some today! Anyone think this is going to 103 or at least test it? It seems to be running out of steam the candles are getting smaller.

I closed out at 102.82.. I am thinking it wants to go above 103 today now, but I am not about to enter here again. If the FOMC announcement is too dovish it could plummet back to 102.5 or even further. IF hawkish could be nearing 103.5 today

I really want to short it at 101.92 for a TP at 101,60. I think the markets have placed to much expectatives for a hawkish FED that the slightest dovish tone would trigger a retracement to 101,50 despite the Good GDP number which has already moved the pair enough. What do you think? Im not 100% sure to trade it.

Shorted at 103
5 pip stop

Call it trying to pick the top, call it being stubborn, call it whatever. This move is insane. If nothing else I'm shorting it on principal.

EVERYTHING has over reacted to the 4%. I mean- come fucking on. The numbers are cooked.

For those of you wondering what to do, think on this.
- the monthly chart has support at 101.20 and 101.80; price has just lifted off those levels, there is a resistance at 103.40
- the weekly chart has just broken its pennant to the upside, again local resistance around 103.30 and 103.75
- daily; we are at a resistance of 103.00, next resistances are 103.40 and 103.75 - but it may stall here for a while.....
- all the lower time frames have blown out of range on RSI, Bollinger Bands and such like; the FOMC will determine what happens next.

...and if you are nursing some struggling EJ positions like me
- price has just bounced off the weekly 50MA
- daily 137.70 and 138.00 are nearby resistance

...but I am holding my positions through the FOMC. 137.70 was just broken and I will hold for now.

Just more opportunity to start shorting it, FOMC may push it up 103.1, long term shorts not one day 100 pip surprise

Not worried about EURJPY and GBPJPY say USD being faded, EURUSD and GBPUSD will still give some support but the direct impact is USDJPY.

Just personal opinion not trade advice

i'm short! 102.84.. i suppose i'll get burned lol.. oh well i don't care.

i have yet to set a stop loss or target.. small position.

Exodus I think today is about fundamentals, all the technichals are blown.

Events are Fundamentals. Positive GDP plus rising Jobs pushes the FED for earlier interest rate raises altough not in the near future. And weak Japan employment and trade balance pushes BoJ towards aditional easing which was expected in October.
