I'm thinking this is why they say its x4 quarterly. But I get what you are saying too.

In a way, in a normal less volatile world, probably when they first came up with the reason for annualized being quarterly x 4, it is possible to expect the annual GDP to fall somewhere close to x4 the quarter's GDP. I think they should just change it to quarterly and leave out the annualized.. haha better yet, have a daily GDP figure there is no point in multiplying it by 4 because its so volatile. One quarter's change now doesn't imply what the annual growth could be.

if you want to wait for the year to end and get a better figure, it may limit ones trading. and even then you can get revisions, quarters after.

Don't know where the equilibrium will be looking at Argentina is facing bankruptcy, Gaza Strip, Ukraine, Middle East but as history shows USD bullish from such events.

Usually these evenets are USD bullish but lately we have seen the oppsite that save heaven have been the euro

I hear you I hate those days. I however dropped my stock in Windstream Holdings (WIN) yesterday, and boom today this morning they decided to spin off some of the assets into a REIT. Was up as much as 3$. Granted I saw gains in the stock but damn one freaking day before that announcement.

True I should hold some patience and wait for below 3400, it does normally drop below that. I just wonder if we get below 3400 we say goodbye and go straight through to 3350.

I also wonder if Russians are selling their rubles and picking up eur's. This may be why there is some support right above 3400 currently.
