Looking at the price action of EU on the 1hr and 15m chart, it is attacking the sell side, only to make a quick move back up once the aforementioned TF close. This accumulation t the main pivot, without having retraced to the last pivot which it moved up from is a good sign of EU trying to bait the sellers into another move down.

Based on my calculations I will close my EU long once the price closes under 1.3430 on the 15m chart, or a close under 1.34275 on the 1hr. Which ever once comes first. Shorting prior to those prices is simply a bias wager. If you look at the 1HR chart we have not had an engulf of a green candle in more then 7 hours. So why short without an engulf to the downside?

You may be correct, Panco. However, consider the size of NZ. It's GDP is about half that of the greater Houston area. So, IMHO, Bloomberg's analysts may be correct. Thanks for commenting, pardner. Setting long at 1.3430 and short at 1.34479. Hoping for drop down before news pop up and shorting it for rest of week on rise. If no drop shorting at 1.34479.

I do not recall the exact dates but I think the BOJ and RBA also took tough monetary policy decisions in the summer. I disagree with the low volatility, take CAD and CHF as a great example of the past 30 days

The EU monthly chart on a long term basis would suggest a downturn trend into the 1.20's. The chart is revealing as well, a harmonic convergence which, if it came to it's ultimate conclusion would be around the low 1.30's until a breakout one way or the other occurs. The weekly EU is also trending down to give further weight to the downtrend being established.

This may have no affect on you daily or short term traders but it is good to know what the overall direction this market is going.

Careful. High impact news and the ma lines are so close in crossing. Ma 34 and ma 10 simple on 1hr. If bias is to the buy side then they drop eu for a new low. Imagine it made a fresh low, and didn't even GAP. Not even a little. Now 1hr is about to cross. We have had 3 extensions called back to the buy side. We will just have to wait and see.
