GBP/AUD has had an interesting reversal pattern form over the past two days. Initially a PA bounce off of the 200ema as well as the current ascending channel, followed by a continuation of the move long.

Note that the lower line of the channel is running with the 200ema, so a significant dynamic support level at present.

Nothing from TDI and 7EMA, so these are still indicating momentum short, although other indicators show PA as oversold, so another one for the watch list as if PA continues north, there will probably be a colour change on APB on the Sunday/Monday candle.

Thanks for your charts. They're very informative.
Used your chart to show a similar setup prior to the one you marked up.
On the H4, it was a bounce above the MBL.

Yes this is the exact setup, just go back in time u would be amazed how often it repeats , welcome and good luck
A previous cross is mandatory; look up the example u posted; first TDI will start an initial cross followed by divergence and another cross ; also be aware that the divergence can be taken from lower time fame

Hello liuxiaobing I can't answer questions like for you, you need to work exits for yourself, as you can see I've only just logged in and you posted 8 hours ago, so I am not around all the time to be able to answer questions like that, sorry. But I would say that as you must have entered that buy last week I would have exited long before this, and definitely when h4 tdi had crossed down and h1 had made a lower high.

I may be wrong but I think you have to be careful about asking thread members advice on specific entry or exits on a specific trade as any such advice could be deemed to be giving financial advice for which I imagine one would have to be qualified/certified with the new Financial Conduct Authority.

Is there anyone out there trading TMS using Dean Malone's price action channel (PAC)? If so, kindly inform me the correct settings for them? I know they are 5-period smoothed moving average, applied to high/low. But what is the SHIFT value? Anyone knows? THX.

Yes I'm using it. Have just re-read Dean's documentation relating to Synergy method and as you say it's a 5-period smoothed moving average, applied to high/low. He adds that alternatively you could use an 8-period EMA applied to high and low. In neither case does he mention there being any 'shift' value, so I assume that means zero and there is no shift. Hope that helps and good luck with using it. I find it very useful. but I guess it's what you get used to using.

You are better of following the original guidelines until you understand the interactions between PA and TDI - so when the TDI starts to hook / or the APB changes colour and PA reverses, then time to exit.

On your E/U trade the two indicators didn't match. Stoch was indicating over bought. Both must be indicating the same thing in order to place a trade. Also you did buy on a candle with wicks on top and bottom I believe that means there's going to be a change in direction.

Easiest way around those trades? Check your higher timeframe first. If you want to only look at the one timeframe then use the stoch you have on the chart, learn how to use it for high probability trades. Both EU and UC were both not good positions.
